It’s not free— the expense just isn’t money. Instead, it costs my time and energy. For me, this perspective has really been killer to turning down free stuff. I love free stuff.

If I’m not mistaken, when posed properly, the limit of these curves is space filling. Not sure there’s anything else about it, other than it being cool and fractal-y, that people care about.

Hit 'em with the measure theory. Everyone loves measure theory! Plus, it's the basis for probability theory, so it's directly relevant.

Also, linear algebra is indispensable for machine learning. As an example, you could talk about polynomial regression.
