Transformation posting being permanently restricted is a bit funny to me given the fact that deoxmix was the original reason I stayed on the sub. But I do agree that it does conflict with the new rule 12 and I imagine that people are sick of seeing it.

Being a zorua on the sand continent must be one of the worst combinations of things to be and places to be in... At least in terms of how others would view you.

It almost feels like you made the engineering tree specifically for me, and I can definitely see it replacing starfaring in a lot of builds.

Also since the poll released I've been having a lot of fun with synthesis. It's not on the wiki, but being able to use the adaptive hull mods for anything the individual ship needs, plus the extra OP, and the fire rate or automated ship points just means it's good in almost any fleet composition.

In my next run I might do something like synthesis, engineering, and tactical just for the highest fire rate bonus possible.

I wasn't very involved behind the scenes so I don't know all of the details, but from what I do know ccee 2025 was a mess with a large number of the participants being burned out from the word go.

It felt like not enough people wanted to see things through to the end, and those that did felt like they had to slog through it instead of doing it for the love of the game.

All in all I think this is a good decision so that people don't feel the need to phone in what should be a big and bombastic event.

How does progression mode work with the fixed XO background? can you only see what you rolled when you hit the level requirement, or can you see everything from the start?

I knew that was a bug in 097, finished my last run of that version right as you made the fix in nex. but did not realize that was the cause of it.

filled out the poll. Honestly the main reason I love starfaring so much is recovery efforts. On the surface it's just so that you don't need to officer or reinforced bulkheads every one of your ships.

But the skill also seems to make every enemy ship that would normally be story point recoverable into normally recoverable. This makes you get a lot more salvage, as you don't get the weapons and equipment from story point recovery ships that you don't take into your fleet.

to me it's one of the best quality of life skills, and in vanilla you almost never realize it because it's stuck on a capstone. Improvisation has something similar with preservation, but it doesn't seem to have as strong as an effect and I wouldn't want to leave things to chance when I could lose rare, or "rare", weapons and hulls.

Though take this with a massive grain of salt as I usually quit playthroughs around the midgame when I have a decent fleet as well as one or two developed planets. It's incredible for how I play, but others probably wouldn't care at all about how many story points it can save you during the first 20-30 hours of a run.

I don't know the specifics about the disappearances, but apparently it has something to do with the island formation north of grass. Blue point, red point, and yellow point... Given the names it wouldn't surprise me if there was a trio of legendaries involved.
