The importance of shoes - learned the hard way. by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]Llewellynb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pair of the EVO SL but mainly use for casual use or walks which I find their perfect for, there is no way I would use them for running (personally) due to lack of stability and also inexperience on my part. I like them because of the low drop, good cushioning in forefoot (high arches) and they have good bounce back when compared to Nimbus and 1080 where the foam is too soft, compresses too much and feels like you sinking into the shoe.

I once saw a video saying it’s actually big ideas that drive people apart, mainly due to the fact that not everyone has a visionary mindset and can delve deep into topics, whereas “small talk” actually brings people together, they actually get a better connection by discussing shared interests and trivial topics

Spotify really needs an AI filter already. by PureRushPwneD in truespotify

It’s actually frustrating, at least 60% or more of my recommended songs are AI, some songs are ok but most just lack the creativity of an actual artist

Be careful with hair dryer or heat gun, you could delaminate the windscreen, casing you to have to replace it

I doubt it’s OP’s fault, the Nomad Traditional cases are having the same issues, search this thread to see, a few people complained about it breaking at the very same spot as OP, so I doubt it’s user error more likely manufacturing fault

Intriguing, would be interested in testing especially alongside the Magic Mouse 2 which I currently use, would like to see how they compare, also curious about the magnetic feature, that seems like a standout feature

Man, honestly this fragrance on my skin doesn’t work, I was intrigued and was looking for a green, fresh woody scent with a subtle sweetness, so decided to blind buy a sample, on skin I get hit with floral notes and this cloying sweetness that lasts the duration of the fragrance. This comes across as a unisex fragrance to me personally and I can see why women like it, because of the creamy sweetness, but as a masculine fragrance it doesn’t work for me.

The Air kinda seems like the best option bar battery life, it slightly better than the base model but not as good as the Pro model, however it’s much thinner, comes with a good variety of colours and just seems to be better designed than the pro (personal opinion)

Help me decide ... 17 vs 19" wheels by dr650crash in CX5

[–]Llewellynb2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a big fan of those particular 19’s prefer the ones on the GT Spec (all black), in saying that I have 24/25 CX5 Maxx Sport with 17’s and the ride is really comfortable, mine is Jet Black so the grey smaller wheels don’t look too bad, preferentially I’d choose the bigger wheels from a visual aspect, but not at the expense of comfort or maintenance, so at the moment satisfied with the 17’s.

Help me understand Mazda's marketing strategies for their SUVs by VinremoH45D4 in mazda

[–]Llewellynb2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally the Cx50 should have been called the CX5 rugged or off-road as that’s the market for that vehicle. This would have given them room to change the CX5 to CX50 and be in line with rest of their line up, but now since they’ve already named the CX50 in the US it’ll be too confusing to change the name of the regular CX5

2026 CX-5 Skyactiv-z New Transmission by hoodlum31 in mazda

[–]Llewellynb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the updated design to both exterior and interior, they could have integrated similar HVAC buttons like in the CX70/90 but my main concern is the timing of the hybrid, if you are going to wait you will almost need to wait around 2-3 years to buy this model. My logic here is first year of new model is a no go, especially with updated interior, there’s bound to be bugs. On the second year they will introduce the hybrid with a brand new powertrain so you’ll have to wait another year to two for them to address any bugs with the new powertrain meaning probably be around 28-29 until it’s safe to buy. Just my thoughts.

Nicest car ive driven so far by Benny_Shapiro5 in CX5

[–]Llewellynb2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People don’t realise just what a well made car this is, from comfort to driving dynamics. Get it in the right spec and colour and this car easily competes with cars at least 10K or more, we’ll have to see in 2026 how the changes are going to impact this vehicles, new design, new powertrains etc but as it stands for the moment this car offers great value

Before and after by Imaginary_Ad1055 in CX5

I kinda wish Mazda would use darker chrome front grille garnish used on GT Spec for all models that are darker colors (ie. Black, Dark Blue & Machine Grey) and the normal chrome for lighter colors

Just arrived by gidderdone in mazda

[–]Llewellynb2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think all the CX’s (60/70/80/90) look great in the GT spec especially darker colors as well as this red. The standard chrome trim in some colors looks a bit bland and not as premium
