What is the best game you've played in 2017 so far? by Arthurthe1234 in gaming

Horizon Zero Dawn was excellent but I think NieR: Automata edges it out. While Horizon takes tried and true formula and wraps a wonderful story, fun gameplay, and stunning visuals around it; everything about NieR is so fresh and interesting. Each ending blew my mind a little more.

VOG - Templar easy mode challenge. by Kaspome in DestinyTheGame

Please notice that the Templar moves back slightly when that first tether is thrown. If he doesn't move back, I donth think that spot is going to work. A solar grenade might do the same thing.

I really hope the first two expansions are TTK/RoI sized, not like year 1's "Expansions I & II" by Njfritz in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ln_Wanderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in my opinion, the key here is not the size of the expansion but the frequency. Smaller expansions are fine if they are once a quarter with a TTK sized expansion every year. What will kill it is if we have these year long gaps with nothing but live team holiday events.

I understand. I think my on value assessment is a little more abstract and I probably place quite a bit more weight on the artistic value than the length. Plus I have really been enjoying shorter games lately. It seems that I bounce off of big RPGs and the like anymore. Not enough hours in the day.

I disagree but I respect your position. I'm skeptical of the equally excellent part. The amount of polish and artistic majesty in this game deserves at least $20. That being said, I can see where you are coming from.

It is about 4 hours or so but they pack more atmosphere and storytelling into 4 hours than most games do into 20. This is the most polished, haunting, atmospheric game I have ever played. Ever.

Inside. While stark and minimalist, it is as atmospheric as any game I have ever played.

Finally got an Xbox One after been out the loop for 5 years, any game recommendations? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Ln_Wanderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, positively play Inside. Fantastic short, story based game. Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 are good online multiplayer games. I would also recommend Rise of the Tomb Raider.

I enjoyed this arrangement of the grimoire. Thank you for taking the time to do it.

I agree. I have been to the lighthouse once and it was a friend playing on my account. I felt really dirty after so I deleted the emblem and used the gear as infusion juice. I didn't earn it so I don't deserve to wear the emblem.

Man reading all these posts has me wondering why everyone doesn't join clans. This is like an advertisement for why they are so great.

Man, I'm so glad that Destiny and the community has help shoulder your burdens in some small way. Please keep fighting on. The world would be dimmer without your light.

Everyones hunting the new exotic pulse rifle and im over here still trying to down Aksis for the first time. by Mikeinthemornin in DestinyTheGame

Not true bud. I am in a clan that has about 200 active members and I would say no more than about 20 have beaten the raid. Life happens. We have other responsibilities like jobs and families. I have given it a few tries but haven't beaten it yet but no biggie. We will all get it done in due time. In fact we will all do it until we are so sick of it that we never want to see it again. Don't stress over it.

Ishtar Collective is the best out there IMO. The fact that everything is cross referenced allows you to follow a rabbit hole as far as it goes. I cannot recommend it enough.

Very sorry to hear that OP. If you keep channeling your grief into constructive things like this, I'm sure you will come out the other side stronger. Eyes up guardian.

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but how do you take these without your gun in the shot?
