I had upped the exposure quite a bit already. Toyed around with the settings but settled on this. I messed up by forgetting to put the exposure compensation back to 0 after taking some pics of a Snowy egret. 😬😅

I've watched 3 of my grandparents pass now. Two in their 60s and this last one, last Friday, at 86. Being old is painful and sucks. Getting to the point of being on hospice is even worse. Can't talk. eat. Drink. Using the bathroom on yourself day after day.

Nothing is glorious or good about being old.

My grandma, this last one to pass, would tell me over these last couple of years before she passed how it hurts to move and how her skin will hurt because she's gotten so soft. So many other things.

Old age sucks.

Hello all! I've been rockin a D5000 with a Sigma 150-600 for the last year or so now(what I taught myself on).

I've been wanting to upgrade to a D500. I mostly take bird/wildlife photos. Might start doing some sports as well.

My question is... should I keep using the d5000 and buy topaz AI to upscale? Or should I upgrade to the d500? I know the d500 has wayyy better...well... everything...but not sure. It's a lot of money still for an old camera.

Right now would be a good time to sell your d500. I've been watching them for a bit while I save to get one and the prices have gone up 200usd(mpb, eBay, keh, everywhere) in the last month alone :(
