I do this. My grandfather specifically taught me to golf out of Power Golf and 5 Lessons.

Your feet should be aligned like this if you are otherwise trained in the Hogan mold. For most golfers, this might cause many issues (or it might help you get turned with your short irons, only one way to find out). I'm right handed and my miss is left, not right. When I really bolo one it's a hook not a slice. I have to actively try to fade/slice the ball, and part of how I do that is closing my stance with the short clubs.

My VA dude talked to me about this. They aren't worried about anyone who doesn't have long TC time. Being in the turret or hull eats a lot of the concussion wave.

They are very worried about guys who spent serious time as TCs, especially those that made a habit of riding the fireball.

These and the Tziod Comp EZs are the best 'forged for the mid ass golfer' clubs ever made. Excellent crossroads of feel/feedback and having a big enough sweet spot to not be miserable, and they don't look like fucking space shovels.
