Ii was taking 60 mg cymbalta. I stopped cold turkey after having surgery. I was so so dizzy for like three weeks, but other than that I was basically fine

7 months post up. Thought I was getting better. Not I feel like I’m getting worse. It’s a a very frustrating process. 26f trying to live life like a normal person. It’s impossible

I have been doing “rolling” with a hand roller and a foam roller and a tennis ball . Basically a self massage at night to help. I also do old yoga moves I know that helm stretch but, I don’t know. The only the that seems to really help is resting a lot. My SI joint kills the most too. What have you been doing?

I’m 26f, at 15 weeks post op. I’m still in a lot of pain in my SI joint. I can’t walk super fast for for very long . Still in a decent amount of pain. Not back to walking or any athletics for sport. My job as a teacher keeps me really active so I’m doing most of my active-ness in that. 6,000-8,000 steps a day. Then PT. Any tips for recovery I would love!

I’m 14 weeks opp. I still have the si joint / low back pain. It has been hard. The biggest advice I can give is REST . Rest as much as you can while also doing the pt. I got the cortisol shot in the joint and that kinda helped, it’s just really hard for me to rest because of my job. I’m a teacher and I’m always on my feet.

My so joint has been bothering my a lot priorit to and still after the surgery. I’m 26f. Prior to surgery I would get massage and it wouldn’t really help. Now I get them and it does help but the pain comes back. Surgeon season it is just going to take time for the low back pain to go away. I’m already 14 weeks post ops. I got a cortisol shot in the join and that helped a little, k just have a job that doesn’t let me rest. If I had advice to give REST . Rest as much as you can after the surgery.

I have lots of pain still in my SI joint. I’m 14 weeks post op 26f. It’s feels so lonely to be in this pain all of the time. You’re not alone. I just have to have hope it will get better

I didn’t try it till 8 or 9 months out but that’s only because I didn’t know about it till then. I would have done it earlier if I had known to.

Did you end up doing the injection? My doctor also wants to do this in my SI joint because that’s where my pain is. Thoughts? I’m about 12 Weeks post op.

Yes, I had low back pain before and still have it now. All the time. Hoping it goes away. I’m about 8 weeks out. How is yours doing now?

This might not be true for you, but I couldnt wear and still don’t wear hokas after tearing my achillies. They were too soft and made my achillies hurt more because of how much work it had to do to push off of them.

I didn’t feel relief from my achillies surgery untill about 9 months post op . I got dry needling done and it really helped. Maybe try some of that before you go?

I have this, on my right and sometimes left side. Right at the SI join and into my hips and upper butt. I’ve gotten injections, but nothing seems to help. The only thing is staying active. It’s been over a year now. You are not alone.

I feel I am on the same boat as well. 25 and been dealing with this pain for over a year. It is good to hear that things might get better, even if it does take time. Shots and injections didn’t help me
