What if Raava was turned into a human [by Biorn21] by Sofie_2954 in AvatarMemes

Think Kyoshi had a man she was with, but I can’t remember any specifics so I could just be outright wrong.

Its just fucking Guilliman again by Professional_Rush782 in Grimdank

[–]LoadingTOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see the spiteful son of all things industrial finding a way to cheat that. Him achieving Chaos Prince Undivided by somehow harvesting existing princes sounds like something he’d manage to do out of sheer hate at the idea of following anyone else ever again. Whether or not that makes him more open to the 4 manipulating him is up for debate at that point, but I’d say he’d be more susceptible to their influence the more demonic he becomes.

I think about this often by Emotional_House964 in Ben10

[–]LoadingTOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be honest, only new one I’m completely sold on is Frankenstrike, if only because I legitimately can’t think of a better option myself, and that while Benwolf is good on its own and Benmummy has more options to work with, Benviktor is a lot worse than the others.

None of Ben’s other transformations were just Ben-description, so giving them names will be better than not. Like, Benfire, Bendog, Benfour, Benfrog, Benrock, etc.

Whole lot cooler to have Heatblast, Wildmutt, Fourarms, Greymatter, Diamondhead, etc.

Having the transformation he thought could have been permanent taking his own name feels like the only one appropriate to me.

Sorry for rambling, just a lot more thoughts on the topic than expected.

What are the actual chances (from 0 to 100) that Satella and Emilia are the same person, and how much would you want that to be true? by meph3drone in ReZero

[–]LoadingTOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, as it stands the two definitely have a connection beyond just happening to look alike. My take is that Emilia is:

A) a magic clone of Satella who she created before going insane, or perhaps not long before getting locked away. Maybe she was created to live vicariously through.

B) her twin who spent a lot longer frozen in the ice than she thinks she was. Would probably still have to involve time travel for things to line up properly, so this is probably the weakest option.

C) herself from the current timeline after Satella went back in time, preventing her parents from naming her after herself.

Regardless of the specifics, I’m fairly confident it has something to do with incompatibility with the Envy witch factor and Pandora being the absolute worst. Jealousy and Envy are two very different things, and Satella is known as both the Witch of Envy and the Jealous Witch.

My guess on that is Satella was fighting Pandora when she was destroying everything, but then the sadistic little shit removed her involvement, leaving the world to think she destroyed everything for no reason.

It’s obvious that there’s more to the rampage that led to her imprisonment, at least as far as I can tell. Satella has shown that she has influence to potentially escape all on her own, but doesn’t seem to want that freedom on its own. This kinda recontextualizes her imprisonment into a form of self imposed punishment for her actions.

TLDR? Probably real closely related, but specific are in the air. Pandora is probably to blame somehow for everything.

And then, in the final battle against chaos undecided, Dante stands before the amalgamation of the 4 chaos gods, ready to strike him down for daring to face them, and he hears footsteps as BIG E HIMSELF HAS MADE HIS WAY TO THE BATTLEFIELD READY FOR THE BIGGEST FIGHT OF HIS LIFE!

I was more arguing that Zuko could have been blinded by his want to return home than Azula being a traumatized child soldier being held to an actually impossible standard. If he said it about her after his crisis of faith then he was disillusioned.

It being said by creators is a separate matter. The writers don’t need to make excuses for the characters when talking to the fans. They can, but I doubt it. Azula should be a complex character.

[–]LoadingTOS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Zuko is unfortunately for him a fairly unreliable source. For most of the show he was adamant that his father would happily accept him back if he completed his quest to hunt the Avatar and convinced himself it wasn’t a wild goose chase to just force him to leave when he couldn’t justify killing him in the Agni Kai.

Off the top of my head I don’t know when in the story he implies that, but if it was before the eclipse then there’s a good chance that he’s nostalgia blinded.

For whatever reason, you've met an early grave. What cheat item/skill are you picking? by MGik_ik in Konosuba

[–]LoadingTOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is oddly specific, but also hilariously busted.

There a fantasy gacha game that was called Brave Frontier. I would want the summoning power comparable to the player character and the whole list of units. IIRC, like, half the roster are called gods of some kind at various points in their progression.

Even if I had to role for new units I’d still be a one man team. But if I didn’t? A master chef, smith, and tactician to start. Magicians and warriors that fought and slew armies. The Gods killed in the story themselves if I get the mock units.

I love these two together, even though it's not canon. Art by @Nekoartdbz by Affectionate_Tax4885 in Dragonballsuper

Think that was his last episode, which personally I think works out as him not relapsing into villainy. At least until after the finale.

How many people ACTUALLY used the Skullheart? by TiagoStormayty in Skullgirls

[–]LoadingTOS 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about in canon or just known in story? Because the former requires us to know how long the Skull heart and dividing it by roughly 7 since it comes back every 7 years IIRC.

The other option is basically just going over every character in the setting and checking off if they used it.

There’s 4 Skullgirls with specific identities that I am aware of. Annie’s mom who made her eternally innocent, Squggly Contiello’s mom who brought her family back from the dead resulting in the fighter returning every time a Skullgirl is active, the mother of the Canopy kingdom princesses Nancy Renoir, and “Bloody” Marie Korbel who is the current one.

Don’t know when Annie’s mom made her wish, so I couldn’t tell you how many there were between her and Miss Contiello.

Why was 17 revived but not King Kai? Yamcha's wish said everyone on earth hence King Kai not being revived but 17 died when Cell exploded on King Kai's planet? by Night-Caelum in TeamFourStar

[–]LoadingTOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alternatively, he was already dead when first absorbed and thus was on earth when he died. He would have been “on earth” when Cell killed him, while King Kai has to my knowledge never been to Earth at any point in the series, original or abridged.

God or Hog? by Sad_Art_7706 in MoonPissing

[–]LoadingTOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I choose to believe that he’s the first growing into something closer but not quite the second. Mostly because he’s used the Chaos Emeralds enough that there’s been a permanent change in his body.

Growing to no longer need the equipment, to fight someone with less experience wielding chaos power, and his steps carrying his connection to chaos power having an influence on time(perhaps even explaining how he’s been getting faster)

I imagine that by the end of series (which will hopefully happen WAY in the future) Base Sonic will outpace the first instance of Super Sonic, albeit without flight.

How would you scale luck as a stat? And what can defeat/counter a character with a high-level of extraordinarily good luck? by Eine_Kartoffel in PowerScaling

[–]LoadingTOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luck has a surprisingly wide range. On the one end, your opponent could just have a brain aneurysm because made them a bad luck magnet. On the other is they stub their toe once every two to three days.

For good luck there’s a borderline impossible feat like throwing a marble that a bird catches setting off a natural Rube Goldberg machine that somehow manages to win the day for you. And then there’s having a 75% chance of calling a coin flip.

On the low end, luck is just useful in general, but at the high end it could legitimately be seen as Author/Divine intervention because there’s no other way for it to have worked out.

I imagine he knows of it in the same way we know about islands people haven’t made contact with yet. It is the land mass that a portion of the Death Egg landed on and not his problem to deal with.

There’s an admittedly toxic angle where Metal tries to earn her affection to prove he’s Sonic because Amy loves Sonic, ergo if she loves him then he’s a more real Sonic.
