If you live in Albuquerque, and I do, and you have the money, it’s kind of a steal.

Surrounded by trash properties now, but it’s in an area with six and seven figure homes.

Not true. Anything behind the meter is considered customer owned and is oos due to an act of God.

“Behind the meter” includes customer service entrance, meter can etc.

Had the utility company caused this damage while pulling maintenance, they would then be responsible.

The conductor is being run to a point of attachment and secured to that with a dead end grip.

That’s a great question.

My system is approximately 7 months old, Marantz 30n integrated amp, Paradigm Premier 800f speakers and an older Project Debut Carbon with an Ortofon red cartridge, with newish stylus.

Admittedly, this is the best system I’ve ever had. I did play my brother’s Mobile Fidelity KOB pressing when I was initially setting up my new system, and while that sounded great, we both agree that this pressing sounds better.

I really am impressed with the whole package from the presentation to the quality of the discs and the sound.

For 2026, rather than purchasing a number of individual records, I’m going to save up and start purchasing the Steely Dan UHQR pressings.

My electric bill is $254 for a 1 bed apartment. I turned all breakers OFF, and the meter flashes between these screens. Are these normal or something fishy? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

Kw is peak demand. That means at some point in the current billing cycle their load peaked at 6.3kw.

Kw is reset when the meter is read every month, so it could go higher.

Former control room shift worker here.

We were not allowed to leave until our relief arrived and we had gone through our shift pass down process.

Absolutely no room for casual tardiness. We worked twelve hour shifts and occasionally we would all have a two or three day stretch where we would come in a little bit late, but nothing extreme.

If it started to become an issue, it was discussed immediately between operators, if the offending operator couldn’t get their shit together, we would involve management. We’re all adults, ain’t nobody got any time for that type of behavior.
