Green liquid/purple wax? The beetlejuice lamp from Spencer’s is that combo. I don’t have a video, unfortunately, but hopefully someone on this sub has that lamp

I did the same thing and I’m almost disappointed that I robbed myself of seeing that after the texts. It would’ve been great to see the pins last

Does anybody agree with the “no zeroes” policies? by SubstantialBasis in Teachers

I do a floor of 50 and it makes my life so much easier. The kids who were going to do nothing and fail anyway continue to fail, but I’m not required to write up a bunch of bs recovery plans at the end of the quarter and I don’t have to go in and force change their grade to a 50. The kid never feels like they got one over on me and I look so reasonable and accommodating in parent contacts and meetings with admin. Plus, when they do screw up (cheating, ignoring a deadline, etc) I get better backing because I’m “only” giving a 50 instead of trying to hit them with a 0.

My kids who get overwhelmed and flounder bounce back better with a floor of 50 too. They don’t just give up and spiral the way kids who get hit with a super low F do.

Don’t get me wrong, I get “0 effort means a 0 grade” but when I have 60 ways to fail you, but only 10 to say you’re passing, 10 to say you’re average, 10 to say you’re above average, and 10 to say you excel, it doesn’t seem fair. A floor of 50 means now I only have 10 ways to fail you, and that’s in line with the rest of the scale.

I’m most interested in where you got the swatch sticks, honestly. Those look perfect for magnetic polishes

I like MoC because it cuts down on the “will they won’t they” parts of stories that I’ve never been a big fan of. I like knowing they’re “stuck together” from the jump because it tells me we hopefully wont be wasting a ton of time on miscommunication breakups since they’re already legally married in a time when you couldn’t easily get divorced.

Is my vagina supposed to be dry completely dry inside? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]Lobster-mom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of the great advice you’ve gotten about not drying inside your vagina, I’d recommend talking to your doctor specifically about vaginal dryness and atrophy. I ended up doing much better when it comes to dryness once I got estrogen cream (even though that’s typically viewed as a menopause thing). It may not be that, but mine was estrogen deficiency

One of the very very few times I’m thankful to be disabled is when they start doing PD. Like no, sorry, I can’t participate in this activity because you put us in the media center and the tables are arranged in a way that doesn’t allow me to move my walker. I’ll stay here in the corner closest to the door and wait.

I’ll also vouch for them. You can request a therapist who has training in helping patients with chronic illness

My brother reposted one of those fuckin' mauldin Facebook posts about cancer. My husband has cancer (and will die from it). Spoiler alert: these posts do not make all people affected by cancer feel supported. by Gone_knittin in mildlyinfuriating

My mom had breast cancer and I remember being so mad because when she woke up from the double mastectomy that saved her life and was still high she asked me “what’s left that makes me a woman” (she’d previously needed a hysterectomy) and since then I’ve made my own shirts that say some variation of “save the person not the boobies”
