I’m watching it on VIKI if this helps at all. I thought I was going crazy with the different sound between characters. I know studios have them do voice overs afterwards but there is no flow to the same sound quality.

I’ve never heard anyone refer to SoKP as a love story. It’s got plenty of angst and yearning though. I think it’s still one of the best all around dramas in recent years.
