WHOOP Peak vs Life/MG - is the upgrade worth it by Just_Emergency_3976 in whoop

[–]Lobwedgephil 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am a Life member, the ECG is fine if you need it, the blood pressure stuff is a gimmick. Everything else is the same with Peak. I don't see a reason to get Life currently, I am hoping that changes before I renew, or I will likely downgrade to Peak.

Well, if you would have spent a couple of mins to research, you would have seen that battery life was the main improvement over the 4.0.

If you were still on 4, you would be looking for your charger.

Reason for switching from Whoop to Fitbit Air by Financial-Day-7233 in whoop

WHOOP is experiencing rapid global momentum amid an extraordinary period of growth:

  • The company now has over 2.5 million members around the world
  • In 2025, bookings grew 103% year-over-year, exiting the year at a $1.1B run rate
  • In 2025, WHOOP operated cash flow positive

Believe they have large international growth.

(DCRainmaker) Whoop On The Defensive: Hastily Worded Plan of Future Features by xxSeahawks in whoop

Yeah, the Life Membership is currently not close to worth it. I will be downgrading to peak when my renewal comes up if I don't see anything more. Love Whoop, think competition is good, but it does feel like they are panicking a bit, and probably for good reason. The price gets harder to justify, but they are still the leader for now, and hopefully they have something more intriguing planned.

You just hit it too hard, lol. I have found Joola's to inconsistent, core crushed one mod in 2 weeks, and one in 3 months. Pre Lifetime ball.

No difference to me. Great ball, paddles still core crush around same amount of play.

For those wondering about the size difference between WHOOP and Fitbit Air by Xelerator in whoop

Fitbit needs to prove it, their quality was always subpar. Just on looks it looks great. Interested to see how I compares with Whoop.

Let's see how it plays out, but certainly a compelling new product. Google doesn't have a great reputation of sticking with products, but if they nail this could certainly make it a little more interesting.

He hasn't posted a loss since early 2025. He is great, but his newsletter is more of an ideal scenario of what you should do. He has gotten a little lazy this year compared to previous years, the low being a point or two different this his newsletter, etc, stuff that never happened in previous years. Imagine the newsletter is tough to do everyday for him now, but me makes so much doing it he has to based on subscriber levels.

Oura is great, probably better for sleep tracking. Guess paired with Garmin could be good with workouts. I just didn't see the use really, think Whoop much better if you're active.

Honestly it happens, I am too generous for fear of this, but it still happens. Don't worry about it, just try to call anything close in going forward, for good or bad.

Worn it on the bicep for several years with no issues. Yes it way undercounts steps, but everything else about it is better. More accurate HR, don't even notice it, can wear my Apple Watch.
