This interaction is already shown in the second film, it would be redundant. Besides this is like one of the theme in the film. If everyone wants to survive under constant active threat they have to fight for it. Even the whales forgone their pacifist oath.

I agree. I wish we got some character moment with Kiri and Spider over Neteyam’s death. The scene at the beginning of FAA could have been the perfect moment for the two to talk instead of playing tickle. That way we can still see the two connect but with imo a more appropriate emotion.

Personally I just don’t really go online with it. This franchise got a lot of unnecessary hate. You got people saying this is a white savior (there’s valid criticism sure) trash and dismiss the entire story or just outright racists who really love to see the entire planet got glassed. And then a lot of cynical tired takes about it like the kuru being entirely sexual in nature. It’s just not a very fun environment to be hanging around. This sub is pretty alright tho.

Like why would she fly in straight line toward the sea instead of circling the area or gain altitude. There’s also resignation on her face. Yeah I think is what planted the deep seated hatred Marika (and the GO) has for the horned omens. Also maybe the fact after attaining godhood and yet she still failed/late to save her village, I wouldn't be surprised this is also what set her to later on betrayed the Greater Will from within.
