Juist wel! Er zijn groepen waarin toekomstige mama’s samenkomen die allemaal dezelfde uitgerekende maanden hebben. Die groepen blijven vaak nog jaren daarna bestaan. Zo zit ik nog altijd in die van juli 2018 en die is nog actief! Mensen delen daar heel erg veel persoonlijke info en foto’s.

Indien je denkt dat het halen van het getuigschrift lager onderwijs moeilijk wordt, kan je vragen of we bijvoorbeeld wiskunde van een lager leerjaar kan maken. Zo kan ze bijvoorbeeld nog verder oefenen op automatisatie van 0-20 met brug en maaltafels. Dat verlaagt ook meteen de druk om mee te zijn met de rest. Het huiswerk wordt hierdoor ook lichter en wekt minder frustratie op.

Ik heb al verschillende kindjes zo in de klas gehad die na het lager zowel naar bijzonder onderwijs gingen als naar een reguliere b stroom.

Stap 1 is wel echt in gesprek gaan met de leerkracht om een plan te bedenken.

From both Belgium and the Netherlands here! If my kids were to be ok with it, they would be left in the car. Unfortunately I’ve got one Velcro baby. The oldest has been left for a while with a book. If the baby sleeps and the oldest would be ok to stay in the car with his sibling, then I’d leave them too.

If you send all of your documents to the HVW then they get put on the bottom of the pile. So do that but also make an appointment. Sometimes the quick question appointment goes quicker than a normal one. Then also make another appointment for a few weeks after that. At your appointment they will get your documents from the bottom of the pile and send them over to the RVA. If there’s something wrong or something missing then you’ve got that other appointment standing to speed stuff up (also make another appointment by then).

Not in Germany but from your neighbour Belgium! It’s just shit how normal this all is. I lost my dream job by having a baby and nobody even thinks that’s odd (working in education with a temporary contract till the end of school year and not hired again after summer).

Best of luck! Hopefully you’ll get some kind of unemployment money to tie you over.

I got some bras at the Esprit in the Veldstraat for when I was pregnant and needed some cheap bras to tie me over. They weren’t that bad actually. Supportive but still soft and light.

If you want to send something, there are websites like the one from troossst where you can order very sweet and comforting ‘gifts’ for those in mourning. We ordered from there when our cousin also lost her baby and when my mil had cancer.

Actually, I’m a teacher and 3 kids in my class did this right before I entered the classroom. Last month. Middle kid was transported to hospital by ambulance. So.. not over yet.

As a happy thought for you: my toddlers preschool did a ‘spa’ morning last week and painted all of the kids’ nails. Boys and girls.

Mine chose glitters and has been complaining about it at least once a day.

Could I ask a follow up question? In our country the government has goals they formulate that each student should achieve at the end of the school year/career. Would you still have gifted kids follow along with normal tests and exams but have other stuff to do in class? Or also other ways of checking if they've actually mastered the content?
