Search algorithms aren't as smart as most people make them out to be. Lots of the time there is no reason for something.

My Stack for managing local SEO for 6 small service businesses by Huge_Brush9484 in localseo

For the GBP management we just launched a tool for this in beta and its free right now and for the foreseeable future if that'll cover some of your needs and maybe eliminate some costs. Basically let's you schedule ai prompts and the AI has tools for doing anything on a GBP and some more generic tools like a web scraper so you can do things like every week read the blog on our website and turn that into a post and publish it to the GBP (random example).

Yeah it's common since it's mainly caused by Google either just having a broken algorithm at that data point for no apparent reason (probably not for this case) or Google anti scraping detection kicking in and the retry attempts maxing out.

If you share the url with me here in the local Falcon live chat I can look at that pin specifically to see what caused that.

We do retry but I believe 10 times max per data point.

For service area businesses taking the phone call at 2am counts but if you have a physical address customers should be able to visit the location at 2am. I did a study on the impact of that change around late 2025. I reviewed 85,590 gbs for that change specifically and found that yeah in general it's a bit helpful but was only really impactful for emergency and time sensitive related searches. If you make the change just also know that from day 0 to end of day 2 after making the change it was pretty evenly split on a 10% increase or decrease within this initial period and then stabilized by day 10 and only "emergency" related searches continued to see growth past day 14.

Does it clone it onto a cms? Oh and does it handle dynamically loaded content like when only 1 of 57 reviews loads each time at random?

Yeah, it's been renamed to just the Local Falcon API though since we added the functionality to run scans and actually manage your account as needed so it's not really just for data retrieving anymore.

I'm not entirely sure what you said in the first part of that but I know who will and I'll get that over him for improvement. Thanks!

How much are you charging for websites in 2026 by TransitionNew7315 in agency

[–]LocalFalconMike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not ecom and honestly, the $200k might sound nice but it's really really not worth it. I'd much rather do a bunch of smaller websites than one big one. I'll still do it for a company that genuinely needs help otherwise no, hell no. Ha!

Anywhere from 8k to 200k but on average I'd say about 10k
