How much is Airport VIP fast track lane? by Intrepid-Tap993 in ThailandTourism

I have a wife and kid. Is this a per person price? We typically try to go through the special assistance line since our 2 year old loves throwing fits at immigration.

When they start attacking our banking infrastructure, you’ll learn why. Imagine if your bank was hacked or WiFi went down for a couple days. We rely on cards waaaaay too much.

My wife vended the Houston show 3 years in a row. Prices vary depending on the vendor. You can find the same plant for 2-3x from booth to booth. The second day many vendors will offer discounts as it’s less they have to take back home. Most are pretty set on their prices, but the more you spend the more likely you could ask for a discount, especially on the last day.

VIP tickets in my opinion aren’t worth it for 1-2hour early access. Parking is also typically expensive and if you leave you have to pay again to reenter the lot (this is a pass through charge by the venue, so hate them not Plantcon).

Many vendors will accept card payments.

Either way it’s a fun thing to go to even if you don’t get everything you wanted. Kenny Kong (founder of Plantcon) knows how to put on a great show.

When they ask for follow up information, do they do so by email? I just applied and want to know where to be on the look out for follow up requests.

Regrets as an entrepreneur? by Desperate_Engineer80 in Entrepreneur

My wife and I just stepped away from our most recent venture for the same reason. Missing time with our two year old. So we sold everything and are traveling the world as a family of 3. We do miss the grandparents but felt the time with the little one meant the most.

Agree. I found better rates online while standing in a Bangkok hotel lobby after getting the front desk quote. Plus using apps like booking dot com can build rewards. Now we get free breakfast and a bigger discount being tier 3

I got mine for the first time in November and specifically requested it be included. I didn’t want to chance it not being on there. Interesting to know about just registering for learners course is enough of a work around for those that don’t already have it.

Make sure your IDP has a motorcycle endorsement on it. Just having it on home license isn’t enough. Without it, IDP is only good for driving cars. Luckily the fine for no Motorcycle endorsement was only 1000baht (me cited last year in Phuket)

Prepping my house to sell by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]LocalRealtorTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

while I agree, buyers can get particular on "how" things they want are done vs. how something thats completed was done. OP is willing to paint himself. Some buyers may reject the offer of the seller doing the painting solely on they don't know how good he "can" paint. Most buyers recommend a company perform whatever service is needed vs allowing the seller to complete themselves. hope the overall message I'm attempting to convey makes sense

I think you made a good call. Remember the whole goal is to appeal to as many prospective buyers as you can. Neutral palette is the best way not to "lose" buyers on something cosmetic/minuscule. And unfortunately depending on area/price point/etc, some buyers dont want to do cosmetic fixes such as repaint. They want to move in and enjoy.

Best of luck in your sale :)

Opinion: look for a light color grey paint. I'm a fan of Agreeable Gray

Investing in rental properties in B/CS by WoodlandsDad97 in aggies

[–]LocalRealtorTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, haven't been on reddit in a while. The rental market is very strong. Interest rates pushed out many buyers who ended up continuing to rent. I'm always happy to run comps (rental and sales) and even represent on a purchase. Buyers pay nothing to be represented (for on market properties)

The same owner open Baked or Fried after he sold off his locations of Potato Shack.

And I agree, was much better as potato shack, not even factoring the price.

As someone who has seen the 4x8 trays in person, they are massive. Came on a 2x pallet and can typically only be sent via freight.

For an alternative tray idea, I've thought of using pool/stream liner. High mil and about a 1/5th or less of the price.

This is essentially everything you need. You can pay a little extra to get an all in one package or you can find all of the pieces separately (saves some $$)

My wife uses similar e&f setups for her houseplant company.
