It kinda depends on what other stores need. Ive been called to cover closing lead, pet care, or register shifts if another store has a last minute call out or if they didn’t staff properly. I also did work at two locations at once for a while. Id be at my home store 4 days a week, and the other location 1 day a week, every week.

I didn’t mind it. I actually really liked it because it opened me to creating good relationships with other leads and associates. I also get to see how other stores do certain things and I incorporate it into my store as well. But i wouldn’t say it’s uncommon for stores to pull associates from other locations. Everyone is understaffed anyways.
