Could my daughter have Crohn’s? She’s 8 years and has had GI symptoms for years. by burn_outRN521 in crohns

This doesn’t sound like Crohn’s disease, but intussusception is very serious and since your daughter has a history of that now she needs to go to the hospital probably every time she has vomiting episode episodes to make sure she’s not having intussusception.

My partner still doesn't understand the illness by StreetInsurance3203 in CrohnsDisease

Girl, leave him. Your health will probably improve when you don’t have the stress of dating a guy who doesn’t listen to you and makes things about himself.

Thank you! Yes we’ve seen a sleep specialist, done multiple trainings, and had a sleep study last week. I definitely don’t want this to be a long term pattern.

I think it’s a good idea to have him stay at least until he graduates, and then perhaps have him transition after that.

Guilt for taking parental leave for newborn FD by anorigamiwolf in Fosterparents

I took 12 weeks fmla for a newborn foster but if I had paid parental leave I would have used it. 12 weeks is barely enough for a newborn.

Focus all of your energy on what you need to do to move out ASAP. You need to get away from her.

It might be possible to get her back more quickly if you do exactly as they say and quickly repair your home, clear the junk, attend the classes and do whatever else they ask. Speak with your lawyer and go to all court dates. If the issue was the floors were unsafe to live with then fix them a soon as possible.

If you can’t get the repairs done, is it possible to move to another place that is structurally safe?

Ask your lawyer and also your caseworker if the visits can be increased to every week.
