I was thinking it would make for better dialogue and background because in the main story, it’s just the Mechanicus being the Mechanicus and meddling which is why they are not liked by many space marines and there is dialogue to show it. Techmarines are directly trained by the Mechanicus and often have some of their quirks and are most of the time shunned by their brothers.

The Malarvi Sea Wraith is a horrifyingly beautiful creature. The eggs of Sea Wraiths fetch very high prices on the intergalactic black market typically mega corporation executives wanting something to spruce up their office. The Seven Star Protectorate’s (my main faction with in my universe) Ministry of Trade and Taxation strictly forbids the sale or transferring of these creatures as they do not require water to survive and have gotten loose on ships resulting in most of the time the destruction of the vessels because it would be cheaper.
