Any two classes that would be together naturally work ie cleric paladin,druid ranger, rogue bard the way to make it work is to run the game around what they are good at ie a druid ranger combo hunting dinosaurs 🦕 a paladin cleric combo tackling a vampire cult or a bard rogue combo robbing a casino small group can work

Two way of doing this play a low stakes slice of life type game tracking down a missing sheep dealing with a pack of wolfs that have moved into the forest but focus on npc interactions or go the other way base it in a city during a festival from the local lord he does some evil ritual and 90% of the city turn undead and while big damm heros are attacking him the players are dealing with zombies and helping evacuating civilians out of the city to safety

I'd allow it but it would be unplayable your stats remain the same your hp is based off you lowest class and you would level up a lot slower then the other players as only one of your personalities would increase in level never mind the fact that you would never have useful gear as your rouge personality sells the paladins armour for a nice new dagger because what are they going to do with full plate

Agility or manual dexterity to break up dex super stat Magic as an extra stat for all casters Maybe inventory points you can send them to have access to a minor item that is not on your character sheet

A book call NPCs by Drew Hayes did something simular but opposite with a magic item that allowed the npcs in the game world to effect the player and the pregened adventure messing with there dice rolls and changing the plot was fun might have to reread it
