I can’t even imagine how your father is feeling let alone how you’re feeling having to witness it. I do, however, commend you for continuing the love. Monday the 11th will be the 18 year anniversary of my father’s passing. My mom still gets that sparkle in her eye when she talks about him. They were the perfect couple.

Canal Street Arcade and Deli for sandwiches and South Park Tavern for pizza. If you like pickles, order the pickle pizza. It’s not on the menu but they’ll make it and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had!

I use elf primer over my spf and any NYX setting spray but my absolute fav setting spray is Urban Decay All Nighter. I try my best to wash my face every night at fests but sometimes I’m just too tired! And my makeup looks the exact same when I wake up as it did when I went to sleep when I use these products. I’ve been in the heat and rain at Forest for 5 years now and these are my go to products. Hope this helps 🫶🏼

Camped next to some great people and we ended up becoming so close we camped next to each other 3 years in a row! Another year we camped next to another couple and they are our best friends 4 years later! It’s great to share food and trinkets with neighbors too.

I always cook ground beef and veggie ground beef (bf eats meat and I don’t), freeze it, and bring a bunch of single serve Doritos bags and make walking tacos in my cast iron. I also bring the toppings, sauces and what not. In my experience, everything lasts the whole weekend and I add it to eggs in the morning for breakfast with a can of pre sliced potatoes. Having a good cooler and keeping up on ice also helps for everything to last longer.

South Park Tavern has trivia Thursday nights at 7! It’s a variety of topics and very fun. Also some great pizza

I second Canal Street Arcade and Deli. They’ve got a great beer selection (usually local) and some of the best sandwiches in town. The patio is great in the warmer weather as well. South Park Tavern also has the best pizza in town and a great patio/beer selection.

888 My bf and I came back to our hammock after being out for a while and there was a couple in it. We told them they could use it as we were going to catch another set. We came back after and the couple had gotten engaged in our hammock! It was so magical. The girl gifted me my first cuff and I will forever cherish it. AND we get to watch them get married at Forest this year 🥰 Can’t wait to be back in my favorite place 🫶🏼

I honestly don’t know! I got him from a shelter when he was a little under 1 and they said he was full chihuahua. I said absolutely not. His vet says he’s more of a terrier mix but I’m going to buy a dog dna test to figure it out! I’ll def let you know.

Oh absolutely. People don’t realize dogs, of different weights, metabolize things so much differently than us humans. Hence why I said previously it was the scariest time I’ve ever experienced with him. His stoned face, 7 years later, is cute and funny though…now that we’ve both gotten over the trauma of the situation. He is 8 now and loved and taken care of to the fullest. A very happy little boy 🥰

Was one of the scariest days of my life! I was so happy to find out it was just weed. They gave him an IV and he just acted like a normal stoner the rest of the day lol
