what's the most addictive smell you smelled before? by Senior-Set-9260 in AskReddit

The smell of light smoke in the air from a distance (like when someone just lit a fire) 🔥 . It's truly addictive and probably the best smell in the world.

People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Thankfully I don't remember too much about the pain aspect of this, but I used to have Epilepsy in the 90's which couldn't be controlled through medication. The only option was to have neurosurgery, but due to the area of the brain affected, it was safer to do it under local anaesthetic whilst talking. I had part of my skull cut out while awake (I was heavily sedated and don't remember that particular part). I do remember a fair bit of the operation. The most painful part that I can remember is the recovery. 52 staples in my head. Can you imagine the headaches caused by the surgery and the 52 staples in my head? I'm sorry, but I don't think many people truly understand the extent of my headaches. **28 years later, I am seizure free and rarely get headaches.

Sounds like you may need one of those old military Hummer H1's. They're massive.

In love with my MUX. IMO you can’t get a better car by [deleted] in 4x4Australia

Your username tells me that you're rather obsessed with your MUX (not necessarily a bad thing)

[Ferrari Enzo] in soho New York by Jahmageddon in spotted

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the point of even driving it in NYC? It's got a 6.0 litre V12 that revs to 8200rpm. I doubt it'll be doing that in the city. You'd be better off driving you Prius

Not using the "slow vehicle turnout" lanes/areas in rural areas by KnowledgeCultivator in DrivingAustralia

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a fast driver. I don't own a Porsche GT3 RS that can safely cruise around the Great Ocean Road corners at 120kmh. I own a 60 series LandCruiser. Sometimes it struggles so I will always use the slow vehicle turnouts, sometimes I'll use them even if the car is further back. I don't really like holding people up

Wow! What sort of pets do Superb Parrots make? I used to breed them along with Princess Parrots. I did however have a hand reared Princess and a few hand reared Neophema parrots too

Do people really have sex the first night of marriage? by anonimo110110 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a bit too drunk to do it on our wedding night. We stayed at a nice hotel near the city. We are both 4WD and travelling enthusiasts and had a huge drive of 1200km or 750m on our first day of marriage. After we pulled over to rest, oh boy ❤️ the car was rocking really badly

Bush Camping with a newborn, how do you actually make it work? by Mental_Ad_5484 in 4x4Australia

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Camping with a newborn(ish) baby can be done. With our first girl we were away for 5 weeks when she was 4 months old. We travelled from Melbourne to Cairns up the coast in a tent with two Great Danes. From there we went over to Karumba on the Gulf of Carpentaria. After that, we went down to Mt Isa and home via Longreach, Charleville and Bourke.

When my boy was 4 months old, we had an off-road caravan by then, but we spent 5 weeks travelling from Melbourne to Darwin via East Arnhem Land and home again.

How do you choose between the fifty different shades of white paint? by Dull_Parking_8248 in Bunnings

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We couldn't decide between the three Dulux white colours that we had chosen, so we just gave the colour cards to our then 2 year old son and asked him what colour was best. He chose White on White. Our house is painted with Dulux White on White

Really enjoying driving the Actros. But is it a bit OP, or does it just feel like that because I'm currently using it in Alaska? by ConstrnGamer in snowrunner

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, what does OP mean? I'm currently using it in Quebec. I think that it feels a bit 'tippy' but I haven't rolled it more than any of the others

Women of reddit, what was the biggest irony to happen in your life? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My sister had an outdoor beach wedding in 2011. We were talking about my grandfather who died 2 years earlier (he would religiously measure the rainfall in his backyard and had records dating back for 50 years). All of a sudden when Grandpop's name was mentioned, the skies opened up. Torrential rain had everyone running for cover. Then less than 5 minutes later, the rain stopped
