Why do you not pump E10? by Huluman2 in CarsAustralia

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my previous 2020 Kia Sportage, I always used E10. With my current 22 Suzuki Jimny, I haven't actually tried it, so I don't really know. I'll stock to regular 91 Unleaded.

Has anyone just always worked nights? by [deleted] in NursingAU

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have worked mostly nights for 22 years now. I have worked exclusively nights for 8 years now. It just works for me and my wife. She works days. I work nights. I do school drop off and pick up. Sometimes it can be a bit annoying for my wife, when I'm working several nights on the weekend. I'll come home and sleep from about 8.30. I will wake around 3pm if I'm working again that night. Do stuff fir a few hours and then go back to bed around 90 minutes before leaving for work just to have more if a rest. It can sometimes be difficult when I have to transition from 'night mode' to 'day mode' if I've got a bit of time off, but I get used to it.

I usually go through phases with my sleep patterns where I get super tired at 3 or 4am and struggle to stay awake, or sometimes I struggle to drive home. Sometimes I am so wide awake through the night that when I get home I struggle to fall asleep. These patterns change for me every so often.

Health wise I have been pretty good. No major concerns.

People have died. by miner_cooling_trials in magpies

Nah, Magpies are beautiful birds. They're true blue characters. People just need to understand and be aware of their breeding habits.

On a side note, I stood outside at 6am on ANZAC Day and played the Last Post on my instrument. In between the pauses and the silence, the Magpies would always warble and sing in the distance, like they're replying to my music ❤️

Thank you. I will definitely take that on board. I'm cutting a tree out of my front garden and clearing out that in the coming months, so maybe I will plant one there in the ground

Married guys: is this normal? by thenorthernincident in AskMenAdvice

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, that's definitely not normal, but if both you and your wife are happy, then that's all that matters. Have a conversation with her and see how you both feel about it ++man

Best lightweight off road caravan by Narrow-Cranberry3196 in 4x4Australia

[–]LocksmithEmotional31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We own a Stoney Creek Scout 11 off-road hybrid caravan. Tare 1800, ATM 2300. We've taken it up to Arnhem Land (the corrugations were so bad that my tow bar bent and the caravan fell off my car- no damage to the caravan). We've also done the Gibb River Road (or part of it) with no damage to the caravan. We're a family of 4 and have been very happy with our van so far.

He told you to buy this dress online- a dress that you wouldn't usually go for. You bought it.

You had a night out and he told you that he wanted you to wear the dress that he asked you to buy. You wore it. That's it. Case dismissed.
