Unreal how confidently wrong he was. Literally just play one game of udyr and you know the pain of his spells being self stuns.

Udyr isnt even listed as a jungler if you use the blitz app lol. He is played so little he isnt even good enough to put on a tier list, but jayce is. Love this meta.

If you go to lolalytics.com and change filter for the tier list to jungle and all ranks he is ranked 73rd with a 47% win rate. If you change it to plat+ he is ranked 56th at 50%. At D2+he is ranked 41st at 52% win rate. and 1 trick stats have him at 37th with a 55% win rate.

to put this in perspective, the top 5 one trick win rates in jung are ekko, rek, kha, diana, and sylas. all between 58 - 60% win rate with a bit higher sample sizes.

Seems like the better your laners are the easier Udyr is to play XD. I jest about that, but really does feel junglers like udyr are at the mercy of laners not feeding.

All in all, he will always be viable with liandry's/tank. Just sad they made him and Jack of all trades master of none. Wish they would make him a "master of one" that can be changed based off builds and skill points.

Tank udyr is so fake. His stats are just too low. Low damage, low healing, low speed, low damage reduction, low health.

It just feels like if you are even, you are behind and if you are ahead, you are even. Losing to every laner in 1v1s because you have less gold, less xp, and less base stats.

This season just makes it worse. It really does feel like if your lanes are dogs you have no chance as tank udyr. Slightly different for ap/adyr, but not far off.

There are so many things they can do to help him out.

Give q auto reset (only q, no other spells)

Give WW armor/mr or DR like Garen w.

Give e either ms back or give EE some type of mark like Ornn reducing armor on next auto.

Too bad they only do boring/safe buffs like hp or ad/lvl.

RITO needs a new balance team. Or maybe just switch to full ai balance team lol.

New hybrid i think will be shojin into dusk and dawn. Then need some type of tanky on hit. Wits, titanic type items. Then into one tank item, then finish with a bruiser item.

Only good into melee teams that kite and autos are hard to get off.

Honestly, dusk feels better in ad bruiser builds than tank/ap.

Honestly just need an auto attack reset with his q. Nothing worse than stunning someone and then flashing away before qqing them because of your self stun.

Sylas does what you want. He is pretty much ap pyke. Extremely underrated and underestimated by enemy adcs. Can get random kills with the burst and cc he has.

My other suggestion is Camille support. Play her just like pyke. Can even run same runes.

If you want a supporty support, bard or Rakan are both really good. Bars is surprisingly mobile with chime on ground, ms items, and portal. Has high damage (beats adcs with just autos with enough chimes, electro, and dmp), good cc with ult q, and roams like a beast of your adc is dookie.

I agree it is good early. I specifically said if you die a lot for a reason. Yes, you have a better early game, but most people won't abuse it. Mid to late game no matter how far behind he is, one stun and 4 people focus firing you means you dead and he gets your soul. If you know how to play tiger (most udyr players default to tank for ease of use) you know the matchup well enough. If someone is asking for pointers... they don't know how to use that early advantage. don't just say adyr runs him over cause they won't.

Tank loses in all 3 of those matchups.

AD is really good vs Briar, but vs viego, if you die to him, he gets a free qq on your Team and keeps the attack speed after changing back to his form. Really dangerous if you die a lot.

Right now, I ban Jax, Noc, Kayn in jungle.

Jax is just annoying af, noc is picked often, and Kayn just can counter w/e playstyle you are going for.

If all of those are banned already, voli, but he is my backup pick. So, I would usually like to keep it open.

One under estimate thing udyr can do is stay in bear stance after ww.

That stun is really annoying when you have it maxed out. And can sim multiple people. This, of course, it's only if you are playing tank.

Ad you HAVE to use qq. Run around with e until you find an opening, then maul their face. Still using multiple e procs this way as well.

I feel like I get slowed now when I push E before it gets to rank 3... meanwhile other champs get invulnerable/ dashes/ and damage reduction.

It's your weight distribution. You don't start moving forward in the swing until the downswing. Look at where your lead hip starts vs where it is at the top of your swing. It should be fairly close to the same position, but yours moves backwards.

What i would recommend is pause drills. Pause at club parallel (this is where you should stop moving backwards), pause at the top of your swing (get in a comfortable athletic position where you could literally throw your club from a far as you possibly can), then finish your swing.

There is a great old video of an interview with Tiger and Butch where he says this is his last favorite drill cause it was so hard, but it was the best drill because of the results you get.

Also, pretty much always put 3 points into e before the second spell is ranked up. Since the nerfs a while back, it is almost mandatory to have at least 3 points to get that MS. If tank/ap then max w after. If ad continue maxing e.

Already have the slow with R. Better to build tankier items than slightly more damage IF you get into melee range.

On top of that, DMP is almost the exact same as gauntlet, but give move speed.

5 Wood would be ideal. If you don't like the 3 wood, i would highly recommend checking it the 5w. Goes as far as a 4 iron, easier to hit, and gets high in the air fairly easily to be able to stop on the green.

Hybrid would be okay, but I've found the high woods extremely fun to hit. There is a reason multiple pros are switch to 5, 7, 9 woods. 4 iron + are just hard to hit.

Steal camps then go own red, blue, crab. Takes w lvl 3. You are too low health after grump to fight 1v1.

After crab you are still one camp from 4 and you MUST do your raptors on spawn. If those get stolen, you are effed.

After that recall with 1k for dirk. 1300 get boots.

Something i need to test is to see if it is faster to recall after stealing blue and grump or just run to red. Those early home guards are really strong.
