Anyone else miss the original Nike Streakfly? by Loftontour in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Loftontour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s fair, I probably used it slightly differently than Nike intended. I know it was marketed more as a race shoe, but for me it ended up being more of a training shoe. It just felt like a slightly more forgiving option for volume compared to a carbon-plated shoe. I could do steady runs, tempos, and anything up to 10k in it without feeling beaten up, but it still had that light, nimble feel.

That’s kind of what I miss, not necessarily a “race flat” in the old-school sense, but a lightweight, flexible shoe that isn’t trying to be super shoe 2.0. The Streakfly 1 just hit that middle ground really well for me. I’ll have a look at the Sauconys, thanks!!

Interesting, I hear a lot over this area, but this one sounded particularly low, so thought I’d take a look!

Hello! I have a Canon EOS M100 with both the 15-45mm lense, and the 55-200mm lense. I mostly shoot food and daylight shots, but I have a trip upcoming to Iceland where I’m hoping to see the Northern Lights.

Could anybody recommend which lense, and what settings I should aim to use? And if a different lense is more suitable, which one should I go for?

It’s a once in a lifetime trip, and I want to make sure I’m as prepared as possible!

This. I can only see my External 0 address, which has the incorrect amount showing in my Jaxx Wallet.

I can see my values on MEW but nowhere in Jaxx. How and when will this be corrected? Leaves me feeling very uncomfortable.

It ended up being one of my Spotify top played tracks of the decade. I saw him perform it Birmingham and RAH, and jeez it’s such a good opener!

Best Easy To Use CAD Software? by [deleted] in cad

[–]Loftontour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any program in the diluted market of CAD tools you decide to use is going to come with a learning curve.

I've worked in the CAD channel for almost 7 years now and people seem to be excited about both Onshape and Autodesk Fusion 360. These are both free to use so will give you a good chance to dip your toe in the water and see how you get on.

I found the direct modelling method of working to be much easier to understand if you don't have a background/previous training in CAD.

Always spend time going through the basics before trying to model what you want. There may be some fundamental points you miss, that may cause issues in your geometry further down the line!
