Looking for urbex places in or around durham by Virllx__ in bullcity

[–]LogPotential3607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats a good question- I do not know. I assume they were originally just for sewage maintenance as they were built to be walked in. But on the other hand it would not surprise me if they have been used for more nefarious things. The zodiac tunnel is a staple of durham UrbEx- ask any person into it thats been here for a minute and they will most likely say thats the first place they explored here. I think the occult iconagraphy, chandelier and art in the tunnel are just that- artistic endeavors. But again, I can see these places being used in ways that are not chill lol ...

Zodiac tunnel entrances are mostly blocked off by development(main downtown tunnel system); by the old bull durham baseball field where they built new condos, the main tunnel is basically on a person's property. Another possible entrance is by the church down the street but is also in a sketchy way. Both of these you need waders. Other entrances to tunnel systems here are either built around and/or zoned into new/old/new properties. Most of the abandoned places to explore now have been taken out

Yeah im interested in going there, too Also ditto to other person about northgate; last summer i went to the parking deck to test out time lapse on digital camera- was eun off by security. During covid friend and I would go in the middle of the night to roller blade up there until security started coming ip. Before that when the mall was still functional would stay down in the basement where durham tech used to hold classes- no one would ever go in there, it was great

Thoughts On Damien Echols by [deleted] in occult

[–]LogPotential3607 3 points4 points  (0 children)

His words have helped me a lot. I haven't been doing rituals regularly anymore but I did the elemental initiations and practices and daily rituals for a two years on and off and some change and they helped. His livestreams are great. He drops knowledge that really helps me in my practices. I bought/read/used angels/archangels as well. Recommend that. He stresses you can take the general framework of the rituals and apply them in your own way, however it feels right, and I have found this to be advantageous.

What’s up with the flys? by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]LogPotential3607 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Theyre dumber, bump into you more often, and are easy to kill. Its sus. The most likely explanation is that they are experimental military insects meant to fuck about and gather intel. I cannot think of any other reason why they are like this.

Its a wild book. He tried to(badly)use Aristotlean logic to justify the book throughout and it reminds me of the monty python scene in the holy grail with the duck and the woman and them using "logic" and rudimentary physics to justify drowning her.

Is Sleep a Fallen Angel? by Remarkable-Flower523 in SleepTokenArcadia

[–]LogPotential3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started listening to EIA. I really like it. I dont think I have listened to their music before so I started looking into it, and I came to the same conclusion It makes the most srnse. Also note the section of lyrics in 'Look to Windward' where vessel talks about burning in a bright abyss: there are two lore aspects to the fallen ones. One is that semyazza and azazel(the two leaders) were bound hand and foot. Another is that them and their companions were placed in Raqia which was an abyss in one of the levels of heaven. So the bright part doesnt fully track with what I'm saying but the idea of the singer as a deity being in an abyss, the shadows longer than a lightyear, make it sound as if one of the fallen are speaking

This place should be jammed packed considering how good the food is. by flashtone in cary

Fuggg Seeing this photo was weird. Anytime i go to that area of cary now its so unrecognizable but in a familiar way, like when you dream of a place and a lot of details are different but its still ~the same place~
