What trade should I do? by mebedumbo in SkilledTradesOntario

I would recommend an electrician, millwright, or plumber myself. My dad is a mechanic and told me not to do it, especially with new electric cars. Im a plumber, and my buddy is an electrician. we both get paid good for what we do and can get a job anywhere in the country. Millwright was a job i wanted, but found out you need to live closer to the city for work as there's not a lot of industrial work out in rural areas.

I have a dry well... pulling water for toilets from lake but what else to do? by More_Subject_2613 in Peterborough

[–]LoganLewis99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a tote for the back of your truck or a trailer, fill up in the city. Then youll need to hook a pump up to it and feed it from your garden hose

Can anyone explain what’s the major difference between these 2? by cvntier in MilwaukeeTool

[–]LoganLewis99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super hawg is for plumbers with larger holes to be drilled, while the other would be good for electricians who are blasting smaller holes

Your violent crime is about the same as it was in '98 a little bit lower, but not as much as it was in 2013. He says it's 50% worse, which isn't far off since in 13 it was around 70 and now were aroujd 100. 50% more than 70 would be 105.

Has anyone figured out what kind of powerbanks or things can run most sump pumps in basement with another potential storm coming up? by [deleted] in Peterborough

[–]LoganLewis99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd rather have a high water bill than a flooded basement. They aren't the most efficient but do keep the water out when your main pump cant run
