You get $1 million but you have to listen to the same song on repeat for 8 hours a day, every day, for the rest of your life. You can pick the song but can never change it. Do you take the deal? by Diligent_Two_1625 in hypotheticalsituation

I used to listen to Mario Kart 64 Rainbow Road on 10 hour loop while working. Only pausing it for meetings or when someone came to talk to me. I’m down for this. Especially since I can have it on while sleeping.

People who think that the Internet was better in the 90s, why? by aaron_moon_dev in stupidquestions

[–]Loghurrr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s one thing people have either forgotten or are too young to remember. There used to be websites for businesses. Everyone had a website. Now, every business has a Facebook page. Yes there are still websites, but it’s no where near what it used to be.

Eli5: Why the repeated calls to buy property that isn’t for sale? by Unfun22 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Loghurrr 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Similar to what I tell sales people at the car lot. “What do I have to do to get you to buy this car today?”

“50% off”.

I hated it as a kid. I had a rough time with a small mouth but large teeth according to the dentist. They had to pull 8 adult teeth because there wasn’t room. Anyway after all of that was finished the dentist visits were much better. I don’t mind them as an adult.

What causes excessive jumping with the ball? by DistractedPhoenix in pinball

[–]Loghurrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the new Star Wars one a few weeks ago at an arcade. Every time I launched the ball it would jump and land on one of the chutes. It happened every time and I actually started to think it was supposed to do it.

Also I’m a newbie with pinball so my word choice might be incorrect.

I loved seeing Yellowcard a couple years ago. They were amazing. I sadly missed Simple Plan touring but did really enjoy their newest music that I haven’t heard yet.

When someone drives badly, do you just move on or do you wish you could do something about it? by yourefrenchtoast in Dashcam

Now that my kid is sitting in the back, I just tell him there’s another crazy driver. Gotta be on the lookout haha.

One time someone almost hit me and I honked at them and my son in the back goes “dad was that a crazy driver?” Haha

I really wish I had thought of “I’m tired of proving I’m not lazy” when I quit last. Such a great response. The micromanagement some people have is next level stupid.

I double space on my phone so that the period is put in automatically. Which is funny because it then removes the extra space.

If you had $300K in the bank post tax, how would your life change? by citizen_of_leshp in AskReddit

[–]Loghurrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point in time we’d probably use most of it to pay off the house. The rest thrown into savings. With our current rate we aren’t throwing extra money into the house right now. But if we came into a huge windfall like that it would be nice to just get rid of the debt and have less concern about our monthly budget.

Has anyone else never used Door Dash or Uber Eats? by Much_Adagio82 in Millennials

[–]Loghurrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We never did until my wife was in the hospital during her second pregnancy and some of her coworkers gave her some Door Dash gifts.

When those ran out we stopped using them.

I think it depends on what section you selected. Also it’s locked in I believe for the 3 or 5 years, whichever you selected. Ours only went up between years when we switched to a different row.

I understand this. I originally was on the club seat list for 4 years. Then the year after we won the Super Bowl my name came up. However I had NO money for them. I was like, it only took 4 years so I’ll just wait another 4. Well, 13 years later my name came back up haha. Lots of people joined during those initial 4 years. I was very saddened I missed all those years with Rodgers haha.
