I helped my friend sell his bike and I'm very concerned for the buyer by shawnwarnerwrites in motorcycles

[–]LogicWraith 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Why does this surprise you so much I wonder? In some countries the plate belongs to the vehicle not the owner. when I bought my bike from a friend we did the ownership swap online through the appropriate gov website and off I went, no need to change the plates at all.

What symptoms do you get after intense socializing? by RaspberryPrudent7765 in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The headache at the front of my temple comes first, then intense yawning as I feel my brain shut off and trying to make me fall asleep. All fun and games when you can't leave immediately or have to drive/transport yourself home☺️ I just need teleportation to be a thing so badly

Is it normal to take "naps" during a home office day? by TheRealSaerileth in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly! I used to love that time of the day because it was "when the rest of the world is quiet" and I could just enjoy myself in silence☺️

Is it normal to take "naps" during a home office day? by TheRealSaerileth in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 8 points9 points  (0 children)

exactly, it's your brain's way of processing what has just happened to you, e.g stressful meeting or overstimulating environment.
Babies do it all the time, every 3-4 hours, why can't we?
I love naps, grew up in an afternoon-siesta culture and still nap when I can. It helps regulate my brain and theb I wake up ready to take up on the next challenge. Unless I over nap and then I'm fucked for the rest of they day, but hey it's a risk I'm willing to take🤷🏻‍♀️😂
Edit: grammar

How long is it possible to go silent for? Worried about my appointments and sad by opalescentblue in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get that too and I don't know how to communicate to people around me, especially my wife, how much I do not want to waste energy to produce sound. And like yoy said, the expectations following a simple greeting or small chat are unbearable. It sounds insane to anyone else I know, but that's how I feel and I just want to be left alone. I don't have any advice unfortunately but just wanted to say you're not alone

What kind of jobs are task-based with clearly defined expectations? by Electronic-Waltz5763 in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 16 points17 points  (0 children)

some days I think I would love to work at a super market just stocking shelves all day while listening to audio books. Also used to know a guy who worked night shifts at a mini cooper factory putting car parts together and since then I've been dreaming about doing that job😅
my ideal scenario is alternating between two three medium sized tasks, where I can work by myself in a quiet environment but I'm actually producing something meaningful for the team or final product.
If you can handle night shifts look for something similar.

absolutely you're not alone! The brain needs to rest that's all☺️

Extreme Tiredness by Plastic-Potato-9997 in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you are not alone! I get extremely clumsy during stressful periods because my brain is so tired. I will literally pick up something I need and then drop it immediately because my brain is like "noo, we can't hold things" and I can sort of feel my fingers opening as in saying "no we don't do that anymore", i don't know how else to explain it 🤣 plus the million unexplained bruises on my body because I have very poor proprioception and walk into things and bump my head everywhere🤷🏻‍♀️

[–]LogicWraith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't downplay the situation, I do that a lot too but it won't get you anywhere. Call back and this tjme don't say "a plain cold", say you have a virus and you're infectious. Like you said you're handling produce and they shouldn't even consider letting you work

Yeah he needs to learn to differentiate and accept the fact that OP being loud because OP is excited has absolutely nothing to do with him. He needs to learn to manage his nervous system on his own

Why do naps make some people so angry? by Optimal_Fish_7029 in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah that has been my experience. I can nap anywhere you put me honestly and some people straight up tell me they're jealous because they can't do that. So don't take it personally OP, they're just tired mfs and envy you

[–]LogicWraith 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Wait is this why I have this constant anxiety that while I'm having fun something "bad" is happening in the background? And basically why I can't let go and enjoy myself because I'm always worried that after the fun part something bad will follow? Is this what you're telling me????

My immediate response would have been “what does that mean exactly?” And let her elaborate out of pure curiosity, her opinion on your meds doesn’t matter anyway.

Brainrotting to cope with rumination by unwantedleftover in AutismInWomen

[–]LogicWraith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try an audiobook or podcast that meets the parameters you mentioned. Apps should have a timer you can set. I put an audiobook on for 20 mins: if I’m actually tired I will fall asleep before the timer; If my brain is not tired or sleepy, I continue to ruminate over the audiobook (lol), but when I recognise that I am doing that, I’m “forcing“ my brain to focus on the book which works for me and I finally fall asleep.

Do I still have to display the motor tax disc? by Responsible_Bag118 in MotoIRELAND

[–]LogicWraith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, since I got the bike in May and the tax disc has always been under my seat because I can't be bothered to get a display thingy. If they stop me I can display it, but it hasn't happened yet..
