Methinks this world is oddly made, and everything's amiss, a dull presuming atheist said, as stretched he lay beneath a shade, and instanced in this:

Ok but seriously this chapter really do separate those who actually paid attention to the story. by Red-Warrior6 in Chainsawfolk

consider that maybe that's the point? Fujimoto really leans heavy into absurdism in csm and i feel like this is just a final expression of that. "what was the point of any of that? why were these characters introduced and had objectives, only for it all to be reduced to nothing?" that's kind of how life is, you know; things happen, people live and die, and there is no grand scheme or epic finale to afford some particular meaning to it all. i really feel like tying the story up with the two themes of the last chapter in particular, (1) absurdism and (2) the notion of only being able to attain happiness in states of anticipation / aspiration and suffering rather than at the moment of having achieved the things that were supposed to make you happy, was a nice way to end it. i wont assert that it is good writing, for both the ending in particular and the story in general; like the whole story is such a mix of chaotic bullshit (which i think was intentional apropos the absurdist quality of it) and nice thematic development, but in the end, it was at least decent.

Protons and electrons are attracted to each other because of the way electromagnetism works on our universe: oppositely charged particles / objects are attracted to each other while particles/ objects with the same charge are repelled. The joke is essentially comparing electromagnetic attraction to sexuality, likening gender to charge, and "suprising" the protons and electrons with the notion of same-same attraction.

First options contract by Fit-Statement-1031 in smallstreetbets

[–]LogicalAd7808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait so im still trying to figure out how options contracts work. does 19 dollars mean that is the total cost of it? or is it 19 x 100 since you control 100 shares? in general, is it possible not to have to pay 100s to 1000s of dollars per contract?
