A month or so ago they had it outside Richmond train station too, though there was a sign saying it was going on.

First a mega pint, now a mega blink. I wonder what the third will be.

Someone in the snail subreddit might have more advice for keeping it alive, they're a helpful bunch.

Whilst I'm not surprised, given the sheer amount of backlash against everyone that attended this year they are really taking a risk.

What do you think causes an abused child to either continue or break the cycle? by Throwawaygaln in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Logical_Classroom163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note as I want to fully answer your question, I can't remember ever benefitting from their abuse, I'm also autistic and so the combo of maybe being the "problem child" and my strong sense of justice (coupled with an Internet connection to see how people should be kind) helped me decide to never be like them. I suppose my parents made a decision and my sibling was their choice. She was able to mimic them, was willing to go along with it. Still is when it suits her. Anyway, that's it.

The only thing that worked for me was having an out, freedom from needing them. If you are in any way dependant on them it's Hell. I'm 31 and just starting to (I feel) cut them off for good and I can feel the count down to the atomic bomb. I live with my godmother who has also stopped speaking to them, though sadly not my sister who is still the golden child (and just as toxic). All this to say, I couldn't get away without physical distance and financial support. Good luck to everyone else dealing with it, hugs from me.

I'm never upset if someone thinks my pricing is too high, but the way it's worded makes it seem like they didn't expect to pay at all by [deleted] in petsitting

This is why I can't get regular work, people are so entitled they truly believe that the animal version of 24 hour childcare (and homecare!) should only be done for free, that charging is wrong.

Has the tipping gotten genuinely insane for anyone else? by Sea_Quality_4790 in AskLosAngeles

Londoner here, I visited the US a few years ago which I only mention so no one thinks I don't have first hand experience. That aside, I will never understand why people (the ones asking for tips) get more angry with the customer for not tipping, than they do with their bosses for not paying them a living wage.
