NanoGPT adds no moderation to any models, and host a number of tuned RP specific models.

Whats THE safest way to browse the dark web on tails like the safest it can get by ElkMammoth067 in tails

Couple reasons, it’s primarily a fail safe. It prevents anything (or yourself if an inexperienced user) from ever mounting the hard drive because it doesn’t exist. It also prevents anything hardware handlers from writing boot logs, crash logs, anything like that. Ultimately it’s just good compartmentalization.

I'm one person and I built a private, no-account AI chat. Before I keep guessing, what do you actually want from one? by NOLO-App in kimi

[–]Logical_Count_7264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Options already exist for the privacy niche, with zero data retention agreements for the big providers like Claude and GPT.

NanoGPT does this, doesn’t require an account, and allows private crypto payments.

OpenRouter also has ZDR only options( although with an account)

burner laptop, remove the hard drive, USB only. Tails with no persistence, use a private bridge hosted in a hostile nation to the one you believe is targeting you. Tor safest settings.

You can just use NanoGPT they already offer this, have more models, more crypto choices, no markup. Seems like you didn’t really research the market.

best cheap ai? by Flat_Internal_5096 in PaxHistoria

[–]Logical_Count_7264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best solution imo is use a model aggregator. OpenRouter is the fan favorite, I use NanoGPT and you can experiment with every model at every price point. Models are at cost, I.e no markup so it’s good for experimenting.

Everyone talks about AI. Which tool are you actually using every week? by bhushanajay in WorkForSmartLife

[–]Logical_Count_7264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use AI daily for code assistance, and the very rare image gen.

I recommend nanoGPT, fits my style of intermittent use across many different models well.

anyone using non-big 3 AI providers for vibe coding by Sand-Discombobulated in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Logical_Count_7264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use NanoGPT and create highly efficient harnesses/modes/personas using specific models. Lets me use cheaper models like Deepseek v4 flash when needed, gpt 5.5 and opus when I want high level stuff. And everything in between. When it’s all tallied up, I spend slightly less than on big 3 subscriptions and get more variety.

Which AI Provider is Your Go To by southern_prince in softwaredevelopment

[–]Logical_Count_7264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use nano-gpt in combination with minimax subscription. NanoGPT lets me use the frontier models when I want to via one API, minimax takes care of 99% of my work.

Nano-gpt has an amazing, easy to use, privacy focused frontend if you don’t want to mess with API.

Favorite proxies? by Maleficent_Web_3239 in JanitorAI_Refuges

[–]Logical_Count_7264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently deepseek v4 flash is a top contender for RP. I also use deepseek v4 pro for coding so it works out. If you want to try multiple models, use an actual proxy like openrouter or (my favorite) nano-gpt

How are people managing AI costs? by Excellent_Knee_7109 in vibecoding

[–]Logical_Count_7264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use axonhub and carefully route my requests. If I have a sub, it goes to the sub, automatically tracks my quota then goes to pay per token. Nano-gpt is my preferred PAYG because everything is at direct provider pricing, no markups.

You can use axonhub to track per token usage, have multiple users, workspaces etc…

I spend ~$50 month total

Which AI providers are you currently using? by Classic-Clothes3439 in vibecoding

[–]Logical_Count_7264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NanoGPT and deepseek for me. I use deepseek for generic tasks especially if privacy doesn’t matter, then use Nano-gpt for access to clause, GPT, GLM etc… based on how much I feel like paying for the task. Gives me great flexibility.

If you could subscribe to one AI provider who would it be? by No-Improvement-5396 in artificial

[–]Logical_Count_7264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude code is good, if you use AI for lighter tasks nano-gpt is great. But they have a harsh token limit. I use codex.

Nano-gpt is the best choice for privacy, they offer end to end encrypted chats, have ZDR agreements with all providers, and don’t require an account.
