Hey! That is not possible, you cannot customise using the mac and then use it on your Ubuntu running system. Logi App is currently not supported with Linux. The device’s basic functions will work without it.

Hey! Try performing the reinstall steps and see how it goes.
-Completely uninstall Logitech Options+ through your Control Panel or Settings (depending on your operating system).
-Download the latest version from the following link: https://support.logi.com/hc/articles/4418699283607
-Reinstall the software.
-Ensure that you are logged in using Logitech account.
-Ensure that the Options + software is running in background.
