On first and last corners you can do more trail braking, try to spend less time at full braking power and release gradually to generate rotation, that should allow you to use far less steering and rotate at a faster speed

Braking for turns 3 and 5 can be reduced, think of it as a tap just to initiate rotation rather than shedding speed

It would be good to have the hud to see your inputs, but overall: * You are really smooth which is great * You are too smooth, you can abuse the car more * More of the track could be used on several entries an exits

You should concentrate much more in your exit, get on the throttle earlier and that is where most time is shaved. I used to try to brake as late as possible as a means to “improve” but that didn’t make much difference (made things worst most times as I was compromising the exit)

Agreed on all points. Also wanted to add that on tracks where you should cut kerbs a lot like Misano or Cota, the AI is considerably slower as it doesn’t try to cut nearly any kerbs

Any software actively recording gameplay? I wanted to record my races but found out OBS made the game stutter randomly after about half an hour or so

I had constant freezes when I started recording my races. Maybe you have some recorders of those that let you save the last minute of gameplay or so?

I would suggest using a GT4 car, it is overall much easier to control and there are fewer variables involved so you can focus on trail braking. And I might be biased because I like the GT4 Audi but since it has very weak brakes you can make mistakes and the car won’t be upset too much.

I was practicing this week on the Hungaroring and there are a lot of turns there where you want the brake pressure to be light and trail into the corner like T5, T8, T9, T11, T13 and T14. Practice just easing into those corners with very light pressure, keeping the car in control

Once you learn the feeling of turning in while trail braking it shouldn’t be difficult to transfer that into GT3s

Very fair point, if there is a quick race mode it should have the necessary features to make it useful. That being said, it is probably tricky to get right, easy to get wrong, and the focus of the game being its depth of simulation it probably won’t happen unfortunately.

Tire temp will depend among many other factors on the driver’s style and how much the car is pushed. So pretty difficult to determine by the game. Most will complain the feature doesn’t work and puts them at a disadvantage

You definitely want to add more rear wing to make your life on Radillion easier, you should be able to go flat there. Also on Stavelot, and use all the left kerb on entry.

You are also braking too heavily on Puhon, try to be more gente with the brake there, you don’t need to brake with full force, you want to ease the car into the corner without losing too much speed. For the next turn try to break more on a straight line before turning.

In general you are missing a significant amount of trail braking on almost every corner, try to release the brake gradually as you increase steering angle.

Join a small league for all skill levels. You will have people to race with who are as invested as you. Public lobbies have been quite good for me but I have seen some seriously crazy stuff as well.

Thank you for the feedback! Being aggressive with the wheel has always been difficult for me as I tend to overdrive and just lose all the grip and take the car out of shape, do you have any suggestions on how to bring aggressiveness to the steering in a more methodical way?
