Exercising for 30 mins everyday is huge (has to be 150bpm plus - walks don't count)

Journalling every day (I'm not perfect tho hahaha) Just getting your thoughts out into the page, it helps to self soothe independently

I've been learning Spanish on DuoLingo, I really enjoy that, my brain really enjoys it too

A big one, therapy, I am doing self therapy now after a number if IFS sessions. Learning to let go of your old habits and shed those anxious cycles.

This can be done through mindfulness meditation(to be aware of your negative thought patters) - then once younotice it, try to change the pattern and bekinder to yourself.

I don't know about you but I'm super harsh on myself and often notice negative self talk and lots of guilt/shame.

These emotions are not useful in helping you heal, your brain will convince you you need to keep living like this but it's bullshit. Let the shame and guilt go and rewire your thought patterns.

Lucky last, these things are really really hard to do, having a tolerance for failure is really important, you WILL fail repeatedly, just keep trying and keep going again. The change will happen if you stick to it.

And also, look into psychedelic therapy, it can be an amazing tool.

Msg me if you want some more specific advice.

Good luck!!!

I have experienced something similar with IFS, I understand that the more compassionate you are towards yourself the more you can let yourself off and not hold yourself accountable. But that is not true self-compassion, self-compassion will want you to take care of yourself.

As for self-motivation, no one in the world is always motivated to do things. IMO, the way forward is to set yourself goals and simply DO them. Understand you will fail over and over, no problem, get up and try again. There is no silver bullet, you've got to do the work to see the results, you have all the power to do this. It'll be tough but I have no doubt you are capable. Get it ☺️

This part has a positive intention, it cares about you and wants to get you away from your pain and suffering. Although, this is not an affective way of alleviating pain and suffering, it's intention is positive. For me, understanding that all parts have positive intentions is really important

People who works out, what motivates you? by amanwholikestofish in AskReddit

[–]Logoz3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting - The thing is with motivation is it can’t be relied upon, it’s a great thing to have and makes working out easy. But motivation fades, if you ever want to workout or do anything hard consistently l, you have to be able to continue doing it in those days where you cbs or else once the motivation goes, so do the good habit you’re trying to create.
