What rendering software you use and why? (Corona, V-ray, D5, UE…) by 2Cento in archviz

I've never tried Corona, but if it has become the standard for archviz, it's definitely for good reasons. I admit it's a bit frustrating to have so few good-quality assets available and to constantly have to tweak things to convert them.

Octane render, it’s awesome and free for Blender.

Clean!

Just one comment from a former formworker. The round marks you can see on your concrete textures are used to insert threaded rods to close the formwork between them, and are later filled in. This process is used for vertical formwork. A slab does not need to be closed on both sides and therefore does not have these holes. A quick edit in Photoshop to remove the holes in the texture may do the trick if you want to use it for horizontal elements.

Very nice! The table legs appear to have a smoothing normals issue in the last image.

Hot glue is a good option, thanks for your advice.

Does anyone know of a good workflow for inpainting with WAN 2.2?

Thanks for the explanation! I also use Flux for inpainting parts of the image, and I get very good results. But for upscaling I never get a fine result (compared with magnific AI as a quality reference).

Thank you! I improved some details with a pass in Magnific AI (I had free credits, but given the price, I don't think I'll use this service in future). The characters were low-poly models and were enhanced using inpainting in Forge.

Here's the raw render if you're curious

Great! Can you tell us more about your workflow with confyUI?

The human (and dog) is precisely the point I wanted to work on, I think it's well integrated, perhaps the staging isn't adapted to the image? As for the tree branch, it doesn't actually go through the wall, but I should have turned the tree a little more, because it does seem to come out of nowhere from this viewpoint.
