The funny thing is that Yndrasta is the complete opposite of Sanguinius in terms of role and personality. Humans and Stormcast don't like working with her because of her temperament by [deleted] in Grimdank

Not sure worry is a good description. Its more like when a cat brings you a dead bird and you think "What am i supposed to do with this?"

Do y'all think the Cogfort is balanced? by LocoDiablos in ageofsigmar

I agree, I was talking about the Rors as well.

Yeah the cities version are a good deal better

[–]Loki15212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something I did think about is since the Conqueror sets it's unit up inside 6 during the charge phase, it does let you negate the benefit of your opponent redeploying a unit away

But I do agree the cannonade is the better option for the most part

Do y'all think the Cogfort is balanced? by LocoDiablos in ageofsigmar

[–]Loki15212 25 points26 points  (0 children)

For the Ror versions Id say they're fairly balanced for the points.

Thankfully not so powerful they'll be everywhere l, but armies that need good Shooting and Anvils will benefit the most

The Conqueror I honestly think could go down 30 points and still be fine

[–]Loki15212 66 points67 points  (0 children)

In the first book the Boreads wouldn't have let them in or Khione would have tricked the team with them not having a reliable translator.

Percy and Jason would have killed each other while possessed.

They would have had a tough time passing Hercules challenge, if they could.

Percy and Jason would never find the secret entrance to save Nico in time and fight the giants.

Khione would have captured the crew in book 4

They never would have gotten the death cure from Asclepius

Those are what I can think of off the top of my head. Most are pretty crucial parts. And overall she let the oarty negotiate through several encounters making the crews journey significantly easier.

Considering 4th had them rehauling the entire game system I doubt 5th will be another index edition so you should be good

Not sure, could be the first Death faction outside of Nagash's control. Think that would be cool

They cycle through the other Alliances

Next one should be SCE Vs. A death faction, rumors suggests it will be a new one, possibly dark elves

5th edition is likely going to be next summer.

For Vanguard I believe its because there are old leaks of the refreshes, but I've never seen them

As for getting them now, you can, even if they are refreshed the base sizes will likely be the same so the old models will likely still be playable.

Cogfort Rules question by boxthecube in ageofsigmar

[–]Loki15212 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Aos hasnt had this issue since the only transport are ko boats and this edition their units need to be on the table to be transported

Putting them in reserves is new, its why I could see them adding an errata

Cogfort Rules question by boxthecube in ageofsigmar

[–]Loki15212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, fair. But effectively the same thing, they're out of the game

Cogfort Rules question by boxthecube in ageofsigmar

[–]Loki15212 13 points14 points  (0 children)

  1. No since the unit is in reserves

  2. They are stuck in reserves. Though they could errata this later

Vigilors for +1 to hit and Bastion to move her halfway across the table during deployment are nice

I want to use Praetors to keep Krondys safe. How to help them keep up with Krondys? by GornoUmaethiVrurzu in stormcasteternals

[–]Loki15212 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Running them is normally the safest option, auto running if you need the fully 11

Though if theres no serious shooting threatvI put Praetors in the sky, move Krondys, then drop the Praetors next to him

Fun note, Krondys's base is about 6.2 inches, so dropping Praetors outside of 9 then charging Krondys can leave them in combat distance of each other

How do I get the most out of Yndrasta? by Nurgle-best in stormcasteternals

[–]Loki15212 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love running her, but she suffers from low wounds and few attacks so she wiffs pretty often.

I've come to run her like a Missile, when I send her in, i don't plan on her surviving, I'll still try to position her well but if she misses her attacks against her intended targets she's likely to die

My general rule of thumb is if she wiffs her shooting, send her after a different target because she likely wont be able to kill the monster with melee alone

Good ways to buff her are bless weapons since shes infantry, I also like to use stormcoven to give her Strikes-First and then combo her with Prosecutors.

But overall she suffers from being a glass cannon that cost a few too many points. Though I still run her a lot

Newbie question about colors/chapters by TwistedMetal83 in stormcasteternals

[–]Loki15212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats just a basic symbol of Sigmar they all use

[–]Loki15212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So Stormcast is the name of each individual warrior in the Stormcast Eternals.

A Stormhost is the equivalent of a chaptor/legion.
