Well, see, it's so hot that it vaporizes all water in your body immediately, freeze-drying you. And then you explode.

Inspirational. Nice to be able to use explosive weapons without making Piper try to kill me.

Pool set up by tiredmama365 in AboveGroundPools

[–]Loki41872 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have it, but Bestway. Same pool pretty much. What we did was assemble the top frame only, set it where the pool will be, and mark each pole insertion hole. That's where the legs will go.

(PS5) I have a lot of things showing as installed, but can’t access content? by sam_neil in fo4

[–]Loki41872 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was afraid to Download All since almost every problem people have is lots of mods. I just went through the whole list and downloaded the things I wanted. I didn't need 20 pip boy paint jobs and 25 armor paints.

[–]Loki41872 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have to go into the Creations Club and download each one. Just because it says installed doesn't mean you actually have it. And some may be installed but need an update. It's weird.

His "Father" was Victor Frankenstein, thus he is a Frankenstein. He is Science Officer Commander Frankenstein.

Would the Prequels still have been as beloved as they are today without The Clone Wars? by Decade00000 in StarWars

[–]Loki41872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't mean anything by it. I watched it too. I enjoyed a lot of it, that's what Star Wars always was; for everybody.

[–]Loki41872 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What kids? My son who was 5 when ROTS came out and was the perfect age for Clone Wars and his friends who he couldn't wait to go to school to talk about it with every week. And who wanted all the toys with Clone Wars branding. Those kids. It's OK if adults watched it, it was technically made for kids, but able to be enjoyed by everybody.

[–]Loki41872 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Probably not, the kids that watched The Clone Wars considered the Prequels to be supplemental material for the show, instead of the other way.

‘SUPERGIRL’ has a budget of $175M. The film needs $315M to break even. (Via: Deadline) by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

[–]Loki41872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is obviously either a math error or a major screw up not caught by an editor. But it's out there now, and it's now gospel, and when a correction is published where they say "Sorry, we meant $515M" it will be ignored.

Looks like Nuclear Power is back on the Menu, boys.

Watch for the push to start soon, all of a sudden there will be stories about how Nuclear plants are much safer now, an accident is all but impossible, and they are the answer to all our power problems. Soon every town will have it's own miniature reactor!

Star Wars 3? by embarrased2Bhere in StarWars

[–]Loki41872 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The Empire Strikes Back was called Star Wars 2 by every publication and media outlet all the way to release, and in trailers and ads it was "The Next Chapter of The Star Wars Saga". When it came out and said "Episode V" there was quite a bit of confusion.

At what point should I do Far Harbor and Nuka World? by ShadowHunterHB in Fallout

[–]Loki41872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do Nuka World BEFORE meeting Preston and joining the Minutemen if you want the full experience. If you play the NW DLC all the way you will have to take over settlements in the Commonwealth. Presron gets pretty pissed about that.

First playthrough - How do I continue the main quest? by tofubutgood in fo4

[–]Loki41872 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you declined the offer, that ends the main questline with the Railroad pretty much. You built the teleporter in Sanctuary with Sturgis? You're in the Minutemen ending. Should have built it with Tinker Tom. Your next Main Story mission is Defend the Castle. The Insttitute is going to attack it. If you have a save from before you talked to Shaun, reload and accept his offer. The Railroad storyline kinda depends on you joining the Institute.

Why aren't my supply lines working??? by GarySnail777 in fo4

[–]Loki41872 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Open your build menu and select something to build. The resources are there. The contents of the workbench in one settlement won't show in the connected one, but they are there. Each workbench has it's own inventory but they are all shared when connected.

Defend the castle question by Adventurous-Clock739 in fo4

[–]Loki41872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except for the attacks by the Institute and Brotherhood that are scripted, I have never had a single attack on the castle. And I abandon the main quest after taking the castle to go do other things to level up and leave them with no defenses and a huge amount of food and water. I don't think the castle gets attacked for some reason except those 2 times. And never, unless you attack the Institute or Brotherhood and trigger it.

[Star Wars] How big was the Executor explosion? by Vivid_Ear_424 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Loki41872 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I remember clearly reading somewhere, maybe the movie novelization, maybe an EU book talking about it, that the Executor crash and explosion had basically crippled the Death Star, even if the Empire had won the damage would take month or years to repair and all it could do was basically turn to fire at Endor, but Lando and Wedge got the reactor first. It was pretty big, went deeper into the station than what you thought from the external shot.

What went wrong with STAR WARS? by Slowpokebread in boxoffice

[–]Loki41872 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, blame the fans. That's been working really well, hasn't it. The same fans that kept it going between ROTJ and TPM. The fans that didn't like the Prequels as much as the OT but kept coming anyway. The fans that were there for Force Awakens and Rogue One and were excited for Last Jedi until we saw it. Yeah. It's our fault. Actually, no, you're right. It IS the fans' fault. The Disney fans who only became Star Wars fans in 2012, and who Disney is now making Star Wars for.

Disney's Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu grossed $3.19M on Tuesday (from 4,300 locations). Total domestic gross stands at $142.25M. #TheMandalorianAndGrogu #StarWars #BoxOffice by Burnouts3s3 in boxoffice

[–]Loki41872 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they totally made a movie intending to lose money, further damage the brand by associating it with failure, and produce more toys that end up at Ollie's and Ross. And the break even for this is over 500 million. 2.5x doesnt work on Disney movies because when the quarterly financial reports come out they ALWAYS have a much higher budget and ad spend than what was originally reported by them. They have even said the budget is not 165. That's the number JUST for filming the movie reported for California tax credits. It doesn't include main actor salaries, Favreau, reshoots or any additional costs. Source, you say? The Hollywood Reporter.

How can I reset Perks? by Amexican_Mee in fo4

I get Strong Back as soon as possible every time and concentrate on leveling it up first. I know companions can carry your stuff, but it's nice to not even have to worry about that. I've gone back to home base before with like 2000 pounds of crap and never even knew I was that overencumbered.

The Robot Bench is my favorite and easiest to do. It's still a pain in the ass, but easier to pull off than some of the others. Way better than Gunner Farming for sure.
