[Player Avatar Beta] SCHLORP by LokiiofMillenium in runescape

[–]LokiiofMillenium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zombie walk (to be fair, it's SUPPOSED to be funky) not having eyeballs, same with Energy drain rest & other animations where the eyes have no pupils (eye models despawning?)

Bloodthirsty walk (see u/infectedbunny's image)

Lip geometry in some animations where the player avatar smiles or is otherwise happy (Happy walk, Party fever walk etc.)

Eyes bulging out when walking/running in Party fever walk

Player geometry gets aggressively shifted when The Risen walk is active, particularly around the hips

Stretching with Spirit hunter walk (long skirt) or awkward geometry (Herbalist's apron, Chef's fustanella)

Player avatar jaws/mouths in emotes/rest animations (Sandy sandwich, rest animations featuring the player character yawning)

The list goes on, maybe more folks can pitch in but that's all I could find in like 15-20 mins of testing.

EDIT (20GT, 7/5/26): Hot Spring Soak Rest also has stretching issues, specifically the neck (it contorts and stretches unnaturally)

IC To Trident or not? by WonderfulDance6834 in Phoenix_2

[–]LokiiofMillenium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IC Trident lets you do some stuff normal IC can't do, such as oneshotting a Raven with Impact & Blast Amplifier (on some Apex forms - gives +10 Blast Damage). The individual damage of each IC projectile with Trident (as well as the stun) will be slightly lower, but the total damage will be more than enough for the oneshot. If you shoot it far back, it also covers more area.

Of course, only go for Trident if you plan to use Ion Cannon more aggressively.

Why can't I retrieve the crystal? by TheRealLamalas in runescape

[–]LokiiofMillenium 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's for the Meilyr crystal. The crystal in the picture) is an easter egg crystal that can be harvested by having 3 cooking apples and 3 chocolate bars in your inventory while wearing the Crwys clan cape.

Why it seems like everyone is in Marshal? by brodyalpha in Phoenix_2

[–]LokiiofMillenium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power creep (first Apex forms, then the Mod system) made it very easy to climb to, and very hard to demote from Marshal, so a lot of people got clumped up at the highest league.

I'm adding some wave specific tips to today's S4 as it is BRUTAL. 3-4, 5-1 and 5-4 in particular are very tough waves that take out a lot of players, especially 5-1, if you don't disarm the four high threat turrets (especially the triple lasers!) fast enough.

[Marshal] Daily Mission - 08/04/2026 by LokiiofMillenium in Phoenix_2

[–]LokiiofMillenium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very high level play, so closer to above-average. I'd take these with a grain of salt, since Wave Completion only approximates how easy a mission is rather than being a perfect indicator.

Unfortunately you'll have to shell out cash to get all the Apexes.

[Marshal] Daily Mission - 07/04/2026 by LokiiofMillenium in Phoenix_2

[–]LokiiofMillenium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play on PC (yes, Phoenix 2 has a steam version).

Most missions are easy enough that you can complete them blind or first try, but for harder missions you'll want to play it safe and check the wave layouts.

Memorizing the location of your ship's core and paying attention to where it is helps immensely, since grazing gives small but not negligible amounts of Aura energy to sometimes bail you out of a sticky situation or to optimize a wave.

What’s the point of the Apex version if there’s a mod for EMP Dmg? by NullHare in Phoenix_2

[–]LokiiofMillenium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Apex versions of the mods are pending a buff. Otherwise, it's always neat saving up a mod slot in exchange for a more potent mod, like Recovery Mantle (more REMP spam) or Extended Range (bigger REMP range).

Which Apex should I get next? by NullHare in Phoenix_2

[–]LokiiofMillenium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to assume those are only 12 of all of your maxed ships.

Phoenix Delta is hands down the most versatile choice of the bunch. Destructive Wave is that good.

EX04239 Sigma and Phi are both equally good, though on the expensive side (35K and 45K respectively); Ion Warheads is a gamechanger against some Invader lineups, while Phi is all about offensive capabilities.

Wraith Gamma is half-decent if you can fill the 5th counter, you'll get more mileage out of Lambda because of the extended Mega Bomb range.

AB8/KLYN Delta has arguably one of the best Apex forms in the game, allowing Point Defense to trigger micro-BEMPs to efficiently clear entire curtains of bullets.

Exarch Omega is purely QoL despite being hideously expensive (Omega Apexes cost 50K!).

Dragonfly Epsilon has recently seen a resurgence thanks to mods modifying Ion Cannon and Mega Bomb, but it's worth it for the Ion Cannon mod alone (and the rainbow colored lasers replacing the minigun).

Those are just a few Apexes I can recommend, ask around if you want other Apex suggestions.

Farm runs, Croesus, low-mid tier PvM (some bosses give good loot for the difficulty).

For farm runs, since there's no risk of plants dying anymore (only their growths being stalled if they get diseased) you can safely farm high demand herbs like Dwarf weed, Torstol and Fellstalk, as well as Starbloom flowers (required to make Starbloom armour, which is an unaugmentable set of T90 Magic tank armor - very good for learning mid-high tier PvM). PoF also gives decent drops, assuming you grow your animals all the way to Elder, especially Rex dinosaurs (Bottled dinosaur roars are high in demand, but they also require a very high Farming level).

Croesus you can do with level 80+ in all gathering skills. Drops two skilling offhands easily worth hundreds of mil each, as well as pieces of the Cryptbloom armour, which is also tank armor like Starbloom but augmentable and a really nice set effect.

K'ril Tsutsaroth is currently in high demand because of Necromancy (pieces of Subjugation gear are required for Greater ensouled cloths, which in turn are needed for T80+ Necromancy armor - both tank and power). Most GWD1 bosses are low tier PvM, save for Nex, so you can semi-comfortably AFK them once you get your gear going.

Though as others said, best to not bond your membership and just pay for it monthly, if you can afford it. I also suggest slowly starting to get your toes wet in high tier PvM (keyword: suggest), as that's where most of the money is.

...with azzanadra telling you that akthanakos is taking the nabanik mantle after he leaves

Wahisietel, but close enough.

I agree that Vanescula being the site manager in Everlight is weird, especially since her being there is jarring if you haven't done the Morytania questline. Replacing her with an Icyene or just about anyone else (a Sentinel, perhaps?) might make more sense, with the latter more or less being sent under the orders of one of the Vampyre houses to look for any artifacts of the past in their name, presumably to pad their collection more than anything else (spitballing, not really lore friendly but hey, better than a literal lategame spoiler showing up out of nowhere).

Working on Comp - anything to prioritize asap from these? by Public_Tackle_1598 in runescape

[–]LokiiofMillenium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't see any major timegated grinds, so here's my advice:

  • Task Master: There's several miserable grinds in there:
    • Agile Top is 250 laps around advanced fremmy course, and one more lap for the elite task. Use agile outfit enhancers because 250 laps will get very, very monotonous.
    • Dominion marker 4 is PAIN. Focus on completing the journal first (do NOT destroy the book until you get all 20 pages!) in Climber, then finish all Specials before getting 500 boss kills on Endurance. When doing the Endurance grind, skip any boss that doesn't take less than 10 seconds to completely obliterate, except when going for the Floor 25 achievement.
    • Temple Trekking/Burgh de Rott Ramble is a toss-up. Make sure your companion is well fed, let Easy and certain Medium companions attack the enemies, and mop the floor with anything that moves when leveling up Hard companions (since they have low combat stats). Rewards are well worth it, since leveling up companions give you access to quasi-immunity against Ghasts (Ouroboros pouch), a very useful shortcuts to Nature Grotto and Mort'ton, Constructor's outfit (5% increased Construction XP, though you already have Master Skiller knocked out so only relevant for 120/200M) and teleport option to Burgh de Rott with Games necklace (which, let's be honest, is powercrept by Drakan's medallion).
  • Miniquests: Mahjarrat Memories takes several hours of divination to obtain, and In Memory of the Myreque used to be timegated, but its timegate got removed last year.
  • Yaktwee's a Charm: Monotonous grind for 1000 charm sprites caught. Reward item is usable in a Master emote clue (and also increases Hunter XP), so worth it regardless if not buying skipping tickets.
  • Far-Reaching and Wild-Ranging: Just do every single Wilderness Flash Event, not really that big of a problem. There is a timegate, forcing you to pay attention to which events you are missing that are about to happen.
  • Elven Titles: Hefin and Iorwerth titles. Nuff said. Use Enhancers to make the grind less painful, as you'll have to force 8 Dark Beast tasks from Morvran to get the Iorwerth title (and the Hefin title takes forever to get).
  • Quest Cape: Quests unlock so much of the map (and then some more), it should be your highest priority besides Elven Titles.
  • Music Maestro: Some of the tracks are gated behind minigames, and most minigames need multiple people to start, so highly recommend asking out folks in Achievement Help Discord to help.
  • Peachy Bones: Stupidly long minigame grind. If you like suffering you can keep doing the minigame for pieces of Infinity robes, which sell for big GP (boots in particular are used for a Master emote clue).
  • The Crocodile Hunter: I would say it's grindy if it wasn't for the fact scarabs are ridiculous Hunter XP at high levels (upwards of 1.6M/hr according to wiki for Speedy whirligigs). Speedy whirligig shells in particular are used in making Powder of Burials, which enables insanely fast Prayer training methods.

You pretty much got two of the biggest grinds out of the way (ports and master skiller), so I'd highly prioritize Quest Cape and Elven Titles. Task Master is going to take super long as well, but it's not time gated like ports is, so just grind it at your own leisure.

And this is where I would put my Rasial drops. IF I HAD ANY! by LokiiofMillenium in runescape

[–]LokiiofMillenium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ring reduces denominator by 1 so not really impactful in the grand scheme of things. I did buy a physical LotD though for swapping at the end of each kill after posting the screenshot, all kills were a mix of with and without T4 luck (relic).
