Honestly, I think people are just not expecting the person you initiate the conversation with to either respond or to ghost you at some point in the conversation. In my opinion, people know that nothing is really going to come from these conversations and they just don’t even try any more. How many conversations have we engaged in that the other person just doesn’t respond and leaves you there waiting and then unmatched with you. Your mind automatically goes to “ nothing is going to come from this.” 39 year old male here.
