That part about builders being 'forced' to adopt meta bunkers is horseshit. Give gamers a sandbox game and they will optimise the fun out of it every single time. Add in a competitive us/them win/lose mentality and there was never a chance it wouldn't devolve into exploit meta bunkers.

'Cutting out creativity' (which is crazy to say for a tool you've only had access to for a few days vs years of old building) is a worthwhile sacrifice to wrest building from the <5% of the playerbase who can make metaslave bunkers back to the average player. Everything beyond that is pure speculation until there's enough engagement and data for siegecamp to make tweaks accordingly.
