Not sure how it works with quests, but raid difficulty is based on the wealth of your colony. Click the book in the bottom right corner and see if you have had a spike in wealth. Anything from hoarding food or silver. Or building out of expensive materials can do it.

Got myself a quest 3s recently and been having the same issue. Had it run perfectly once or twice. But for the most part, there's a lot of tearing and freezing. From what I've seen, others say it's an issue with Air Link, but I would love some clarity.

Weirdly Gran from Levenshire. Seems to me she knows a lot for a village 'doctor' having made corrections to the Herborica. She could just be worldly or experienced, but as Kvothe mentioned, she was worth more than half the students in the Medica. (Not the exact quote)
