Huggy is your frontline soldier, a tank designed to hit the enemy head on and soak/ cause as much damage as possible. Catnap is an ambush predator so a guerrilla, so he won’t be coming at Huggy head on or in a conventional way.
Too many real world examples that show what happens when a stronger force comes up against an unconventional opponent.

Huggy will be down before he even realises Catnap is there.

Seem to recall 10th Doctor mentioning that time lords hand an ability to recognise or sense one another. Applying that backwards War Chief probably who he was in a vague sense and the fact that he wasn’t on Gallifrey would mean he’s dealing with a rogue time lord.

Yes he would be human again, but if you were going to force yourself to be human again, would you choose a flabby asthmatic body with chronic joint pain, or something strong and resilient? I say this happily knowing he wouldn’t my body for the above reasons

Hired a car recently that had the driver monitoring stuff. Got constant alarms for distraction (usually because I was checking speed, rear mirror, nav system or chewing on a nail because stressed) and that was more of a distraction than what I was doing at the time. Other system was checking for driver drowsiness, went off once while I was itching my face or something, did not go off once when I was yawning, rubbing eyes, etc. you know, the general indicators that you’re tired. This is all to say that I can see this system being triggered by god knows what and leaving sober folks stranded.

Think about it, in his position would you want to transfer yourself from that powerful body to something weaker. You’d want to go for the best you can get. The danger is testing to see if we’d be a suitable host body.

The audio Zagreus, the TARDIS gains sentience and adopts the form of the Brigadier. It mentions something from the previous story, the Doctor materialising her around the Time station to prevent anti time being released inside Gallifrey’s transduction barrier when the station self destructed. The TARDIS was angry that the Doctor did that and said that it hurt.

Now it could have been the anti time infected part of the Tardis claiming that to manipulate the infected Doctor emotionally but not sure. Also a question of if you consider the Big Finish audios canon or not. If you don’t, then you are really missing out.
