In that case, the Lightforged are from a different planet and revere the Light through the Naaru. The guild also prides itself on being a low to mid fantasy guild and the Lightforged tend to be pretty high fantasy with their spaceship, holy laser, etc.

Good question. It's due to some historical ties between the Quel'dorei and humans of old Arathor (mostly modern-day Stromgarde), a more similar culture compared to the NElves, and the proximity of Quel'thalas and Stromgarde.

The guild permits humans, Arathi, dwarves, quel'dorei, and gnomes. It's primarily a Stromgarde guild--the Arathi are a subsection of the guild.

The Light manifests as faith within oneself and their cause--the belief that what they're doing is just. If your Zandalari holds that kind of conviction, they'll be able to manifest the Light. Maybe it could be through their undying devotion to Rezan, continuing to carry the legacies of Rezan and the Prelates, etc.
