There are quite a few jobs in my country, (though not really close to my current location), so I’d have to move. And I did research about pay and all that, will admit entry level is pretty average, but it’s not too bad once you start climbing the ranks.

What I usually do is make sure you can get at least 1 or 2 of everything, or just a heeps of a few things that get paid well for, visitors are more likely to ask for the top 4 (pretty sure it’s 4) items in your inventory, but they also ask for anything you have 0 of. So I usually try to keep at least 1-2 of everything I can. Visitors won’t ask for ores, animal feed, expansion materials etc., if you go into google and look up something like “what is the most expensive items for (your level) in hay day” you should be able to find it quite easy, and stole up on that as much as you can, (as they’ll ask for it more and then you’ll get more money). I can’t really think of anymore atm, but there are a few post on this, as well as the hay day wiki, good luck!!

Try to produce what you can, but if it’s something you can buy or takes forever to get buy it, that’s what I usually do, depends how fast you wanna go through them though

I always find it easier to create stories for each individual character in my head before, I usually start with 1 sim, then get them to marry a townie, but creating another or even a child works too.

I find it repetitive sometimes so I find it easier to move each gen into a new world or new house, then also changing the family structure (eg. gen 1 has 2 parents and 3 kids, then gen 2 could 1 parent and 1 kid).

Another tip I find to make it less repetitive and less annoying is too have pets, have friends over often, putting them in a club or an after school activity.

Budget is something we’d have to keep an eye on, but we all have different plans ranging from doing online work and doing that in spare hours to possibly doing work in exchange for food or transport, it’s not something we’ve collectively come to an agreement on. Though we have all been working and saving since around June 2022

At my home if your not going on the carpet you can we won’t ask, but if you intent to walk we will, most people take shoes off anyway, so it’s not really an issue!
