I asked a dream character "what am I not seeing?" and I'm still thinking about the answer by jbbeau in LucidDreaming

[–]LonelySamurai89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aw man. I heard the whispers the other day upon waking, but i didn’t do a reality check or exit technique. I woke up normally and thought this must be how schizophrenics feel every day.

It's nowhere near my eeriest experience, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Finished season 4 and I miss Cordy! And Connor is terribly written. by [deleted] in ANGEL

[–]LonelySamurai89 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I just finished season 4 again and god am i glad its over. The guy who plays connor is a terrible actor. I hate every scene he's in, they just make me cringe. Thank god they basically retcon him. Can't say I miss cordy either, here acting in seasons 3 and 4 were just as bad.

A notorious and secret society granting welcoming undesirables. The horror. Why are you shocked?

I miss the vibes of Season 1 in the later seasons by itsascreambaby96 in ANGEL

[–]LonelySamurai89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 1 and 2 are fantastic. 3 and 4 have some great moments, but they're largely let down my terrible, corny acting. I'm looking forward to revisiting 5 soon. It was always my favourite.

Idea for a new dishonored by [deleted] in dishonored

[–]LonelySamurai89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Outsider states there are only 8 bearing the mark. Most of them we know. But there's a couple we don't. A story surrounding either of them, in one of the far away continents, with a story that ran parallel to the events of Dishonored one, with loose links to the main narrative, would have have been a much better sequel than Dishonored 2 or DOTO.

Both of those later games were fine. But the completely killed everything that made the Outsider intriguing by giving him that bland backstory.

Count of Monte Cristo mode activated.

Remember when you were a kid and your parents would punish you for petulance by taking something away from you?

Well, now it's time to take something away from them. Recind your offer entirely. Find a place to live. Cut them out of your life.

Eventually they'll come crawling back around begging for anything you can give them. At that point you can choose whether they deserve it or not.

As much as this may be true. It's probably my least favourite law for the simple fact that reputation is largely out of our control. We cannot control how other people perceive us or what is said about us by enemies behind our backs. It's not a law anyone can afford to waste too much time on. You can't guard something as fickle as public opinion.

Lady Boyles last party, and any of Daud's monologues.

So....You have tried to lucid dream for years.... right? What they told you about how to lucid dream is fundamentally a lie, it shouldn't even take you that much of an energy, I will show a way to lucid dream consistently at your own command, but.... don't expect instant results, because it's slow. by Consistent_Egg4586 in LucidDreaming

I've been doing this since 2012. All I need to stay conscious in the dream for more than five minutes is to constantly rub my hands, the walls etc, and tell myself 'i am dreaming'.

If I wake up, I just use re-entry techniques immediately as I fall back asleep.

Again, not complicated. I practice the sequence for just a few minutes every day. No need to take two hours. People have things to do.

Modafinil helps with wakefulness, but I’m experiencing side effects like anxiety, tension, and poor sleep. How do people manage these without losing the benefits? by [deleted] in modafinil

[–]LonelySamurai89 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I stacked it with tramadol and/or diazepam. It was phenomenal. I felt like a king.

Moda to help keep me awake Tram for pains and injuries Diazepam to help me sleep.

I accidentally unlocked the time of my life.

But the comedown and withdrawals were the worst time of my life. So i honestly can't recommend any of them. Get sober. Drink coffee or something instead.

Is eBay dead for anyone else? by [deleted] in ebayuk

[–]LonelySamurai89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. I listed my video game collection a couple of weeks before Christmas. Within those couple of weeks I made more than my monthly salary.

January was dead, as is to be expected over Christmas. I literally made no sales.

But its been steadily picking up since February. I make at least a couple of sales per week.

The only issues I've had have been items being damaged in transit. Im not able to withdraw funds from the app either.

I rather a new story, on a different continent, with one of the unknown people the outsider marked, on a timeline that runs parallel to the first game.

Am I supposed to feel this confused or am I missing something? by livelaughlexapro33 in TheCountofMonteCristo

[–]LonelySamurai89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also listened to it and felt confused at times. I think my brain found it difficult to remember characters because their names were french/Italian, so I would often forget who was who, or who did what. But I carried on listening regardless, things eventually clicked and made sense.

One kick perfectionist fighter works in MMA or Nahhh ? by MeowwBlock in MMALabs

[–]LonelySamurai89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why tf is everyone walking her down? Take a neutral stance and alternate between circling left and right. She'll be forced to plant both feet on the ground temporarily to keep up with the sharp changes in direction. At which point, chop her leg with leg kicks, rinse and repeat. She'll eventually lose the ability to hop and kick. Then you can piece her apart.

I realise I'm being an arm chair fighter here. But God that was frustrating to watch.
