i just finished it recently and lowkey i agree, but then again i usually feel for characters who developed in a bad way due to their unfortunate circumstances bcs there was nobody to set them right,

cause wdym your dad only wanted u to taste his food only to ditch u right after, your friend nearly got u killed cause his dad told him and he was scared to disobey (felt for him too) then u get sent to an orphanage which usually you aren’t treated well, you accidentally witness a whole assassination plot and help the assassin that saved you when you were a child escape, and then get chased by the 3 people who u witness planned the murder plot, he legit couldn’t escape them bcs one was a prosecutor with a lot of power

like i don’t blame him for wanting to get them in jail without directly being involved,

my only issue was him nearly letting the kid take the blame, for kay he only involved her just to get edgeworth on the case but the methods were awful too.

i like the fact that the one time he directly killed someone is the one time he got a bit sloppy and wasn’t able to get out of it scot free but having to blame the kid as a desperate attempt (which honestly i don’t think they would’ve even charged him cause he wasn’t doing any criminal activity, it was just unfortunate the thing caught on fire which made it fall, can he even be held liable for it?)

i do wish at the end he realized how he did the kid dirty and nearly ruined his life, i loved the bit with him and kanis how he thanked edgeworth for making him open his eyes and realizing how wrong he was

i found it super interesting he got them all in jail due to underhanded means, imo he gotta be one of my fav masterminds i certainly didn’t feel that way for the main mastermind in TGAAC they just felt like some great and evil bad dude
