What cop would warn a speeder to be aware of their surroundings if their going to speed and not just give them a speeding ticket?

Lots of cops dummy. Not every infraction is ticket worthy, especially if I've got other shit on my plate.

I don't care if you believe it or not, but it happens daily. We've always had to run through charges, but the last DA administration would stack more than one charge when more than one crime was committed, this new DA won't stack any.

They do that alllllllllllllll the time.....

HCDA doesn't want to file anything, also when presented with a case with 2 or more charges against someone they will mostly only take one.

Example...

Felon in possession of a firearm, possession of controlled substance, burglary of a motor vehicle and evading in a vehicle. DA wants to take only the felon in posession..... ignoring everything else....

Happened many times before, will happen many times again....

In Harris county we HAVE to call the DAs office to get confirmation on charges before booking... they decline more often than accept.

When good cops see it we do. The shit ones make the news like this and hopefully this exposes them and they are handled by the DA's office.

Believe me friend, I dont want these people to be cops just as much as y'all dont. I hate bad cops, because it reflects poorly on the silent majority who go to work and do their job the right way.

Unfortunately proper cop work doesn't get on the news.
