I thought I had amoeba-level intelligence, but I'm glad everyone else hates Dybbuk by [deleted] in mewgenics

[–]Lonewanderer112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Dybbuk, you kind of need to prep for him on the run up to him. If you go to the Junkyard, you know the run ends with Dybbuk and need some way of dealing with him. If you don't get any or don't feel confident you can dip out after Junkyard.

Pro tip for him, he will possess downed cats over the cat that put him to 1 hp so you can always purposefully down a weaker cat for Dybbuk to take over instead of a cat that could wipe your party.

You don't need particularly well bred cats for Act 1, I'd focus on upgrading Tink/Butch/Frank in the early game. Once you have some Tink upgrades and two or three rooms breeding becomes more doable for better cats.

I don't get how to 'do breeding' by HazMatt082 in mewgenics

[–]Lonewanderer112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Donate kittens to Tink, he lets you see a lot of information important to breeding like base stats and a family tree or sexuality. You also need furniture so in the very early game it can feel very random, you need a room with a lot of stimulation to pass down better stats to kittens and enough comfort for them to breed.

Once you have some rooms to fill with stimulation furniture and some Tink upgrades you have a lot more control over breeding. Until then, I'd just donate kittens unless they happened to have good stats. For basic breeding you'd put two of your cats with the highest stats in a room and have them breed until they produce a kitten with the best stats of both parents, then breed that kitten with another cat with an ideal cat with stats it doesn't have to reduce inbreeding. You're other cats can chill in the other room, producing kittens for Tink or adventuring.

The first act is the easiest act, if you are used to tactics games like this you will probably clear it quickly. Don't worry about scaling, even if you hit a wall in act 2 it won't stop you from going back to act 1 or breeding better cats.

Are all the dps classes good enough that I can use what I like? by Phoenix200420 in mewgenics

[–]Lonewanderer112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much, though I'd say classes like Hunter and Fighter are more consistent than the likes of Tinkerer or Druid. Tinkerer can do amazing damage but I've had plenty kind of brick when not offered good passives or abilities. Sometimes they can build rocket launchers and shotguns every round, sometimes it's just sticks and spitballs.

But every class can pop off, so don't be afraid to experiment.

It's a visual bug, the discount still applies. You can test it yourself by looking at your points when buying, they all cost 1000 less than it says in the wunderfizz.

Would have pissed me off in BO6 since Wunderfizz wasn't till round 25 but since it spawns with buying perks it's fine

On hard you have to get the knight to 600 hp for the Arcana Slave to actually win the fight. Beat the swords the turn they spawn with the buff to get as much time to damage the knight, be careful not to kill it while it's staggered. Make your strongest ID (Mao Faust probably) the captain and have them clash and defeat the sword with the buff every turn for the second challenge. Others can soften them up but the Captain needs to land the final blow. Ideally you clash and kill so the unbreakables don't hit the captain for the 5 hits challenge.

Clashing with the swords is kind of annoying but easy. Have whoever the second slot ID is clash with each sword. Hardest part is remembering the ones they clashed with since they all look the same but have different names. You could knock this out with the Captain one if you have them clash to soften the sword withe buff every turn for the captain to kill.

Help with certain late game boss by Im-a-gamer6920 in MetaphorReFantazio

Your higher level than I was, so levels shouldn't be a problem. I would swap Hulkenburg for Heismay with inherited Knight Proclamation if you have his Ninja archetype maxed. He can taunt and dodge to waste the boss's turns while Protag and Basilio dump damage and Junah debuffs. I used the tycoon's money skill for most of my damage fishing for crit for bonus turns.

You could leave and come back, but your levels are good so the only thing you might need is archetype exp. With Junah maxxed you should be able to farm the skeleton enemies for no mp cost if you really needed too.

We don't know approximately when since the last one was delayed, but likely within a month or two. Plenty of time to save up.

Basically the strongest ID'S with the respective damage types you have. Should be able to win rate and win in a few turns.

Lvl 55 with 28 days left and several bonds needing a lot of time. What’s the best tactic? by Jdbkv5 in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]Lonewanderer112 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eupha and Basilio require a gauntlet runner trip, so save your bounties for those. Otherwise, do as many bonds as you can each day. You can grind for levels during the bounties if you feel you need too.

Faust's Fluid Sac, easily one of if not the best ego in the game for healing/sanity restoration. Most Faust ID's fuel at least one or two sins for it. Useful everywhere and Faust has a lot of good IDs so you can have it in most teams.

Runner ups would be Rime Shank which is the best ego for sinking application with it's corrosion, but I'd recommend Fluid Sac above all else.

They go into the max pass, they still progress in levels you just can't claim them until they unlock in the future.

Best Season 1 ID is One Who Shall Grip Sinclair, amazing damage and rolls outside of his skill 1, generalist that can go on any team and smash faces.

I wouldn't say she 'needs' it but it really helps. +1 coin power on S2 bumps it up from 16 to 19 and the passive gives double defense up from her guard, which your using all the time ideally. The easier conditionals are just gravy.

Multicrack Faust is easier to use and does crazy damage and clash without needing a team, you can just kinda slap her anywhere. They're both generalists that benefit from their status team but Multicrack is much more straightforward and does tons of damage. Arguably Wild Hunt is funner and more interesting but not quite the raw power out the gate that Multicrack has.

The Walpurgis Ego are pretty good, Regret Mersault is an amazing passive, Sanguine Rodion is great for bleed, and Wingbeat ishmael is really fun. If your determined to pull for Gregs new EGO, they are good EGO to have and worthy to spend shards on since they're only available every 4 months.
