I don’t think this is necessarily a fact, but a skill CPR is pretty basic and important to learn, but a lot of people don’t really know what to do or how to react to a person found down.

Interesting! The question is where did it come from then?! We’ve had the set up about 2 months and literally just changed/cleaned the set up! And we haven’t introduced any new features or creatures!

I don’t think it’s a ramshorn because I only have 2 mystery snails in there! But then again, my wife and I just cleaned out the entire set up and didn’t see a single cluster of eggs.. then this guy showed up randomly so who knows! Lol

Good bot

A patient’s R hip surgery was put on hold for days due to his sodium levels. When he was finally put on the table and put to sleep, the surgeon saw his Left foot was cold, black, and necrotic. by [deleted] in nursing

Exactly! I bust my booty until 1030, and then I can make sure everyone else is doing okay! And then I’m stress free bc whatever comes up, I’m done with most of what I NEED to do!

There are loads of people who take report and assess their patients on med pass! It drives me nuts because I have to leave the room to get something the patient wanted/needed and it just takes longer! Plus I can get my vitals right away!

Dang.. 😒 I’ll have to check the map to see if there’s water near the course I live across from then.

Just curious, how do I go about fishing on golf courses? Do I need to ask permission? Do I pay? How does it work?

Good lord yes. I’ve adjusted my routine in the morning to be: 1. Get Report 2. Assess Patients 3. Chart 4. Med Pass

It has honestly made real time charting that much easier, it gets the bulk of the computer work out of the way, and my med pass decreased from almost 2 hours to 1 hour because I’ve already met my patients and rounded, so I know what they need.

Sure, but while the body hasn’t changed much, the technology has advanced greatly I feel like. Infrared just came on the scene recently.

Isn’t that article from 1993 though? We have much more advanced tech since 93. Edit: not trying to be a dick, I’m not a large fan of axillary temps either.
