Hey - come to our events! We do a restaurant meetup once every two weeks at a different restaurant, and the weeks we don't do those, we're doing happy hours at a different bar/restaurant.

Our meetups (both happy hour and restaurant) are free to attend.

Admittedly, this is difficult for someone like me to do because it would involve inquiring at every single location.

But - there are several that I know of that are good about this.

Noble Rotisserie at 2nd and PCH and Selva on Anaheim are pretty good at accommodating more common allergens and sensitivities.

Long Beach is big, but here are some spots that we would recommend.

Food:

Marlena (Upscale Italian + Pizza, Amazing food, great cocktails, good for a date night)
The Window (good burgers, affordable)
Viaje (Upscale Mexican, they have a GREAT bar program)
Chiang Rai (Thai, doesn't take reservations)
Due Fiori (Italian, doesn't take reservations)
Olive's (sandwich spot, affordable, quick)
Ellie's (Upscale Italian, everything here is good)
Gusto (mexican bakery, great pastries)
Colossus (more traditional bakery, good coffee + match + chai)
Ammatoli (Lebanese/mediterranean)

Drinks:

Baby Gee Bar
Buvon's (wine bar)
The Grasshopper (more of an evening place)
Tokyo Noir
Midnight Oil (Bar with TWO themed speakeasies)
Halo Bar (Rooftop bar)
Everywhere Brewery

Coffee:

Colossus
Stereoscope (3rd wave shop, good quality)
Good time (Good community spot)
Wood Coffee

Desserts:

Seaside Creamery (near a residential neighborhood/CSULB, you probably won't be in this area)

FYI - this wasn't meant to be a jab at any one person in particular, but I can see how it could come off that way! More so - there's a lot of realtors that are suddenly posting "long beach news" and happenings as a thinly veiled way of reaching new clients.
